Historic, astonishing, exciting and snowy
My 8 year old was given this. She has LOTS of books but she raves about this one. Apparently Holly Webb is now one of her favourite authors. We will have to buy some more of her books! (The title is my 8 year old's summary of the book)

Perfect for my EAL student
Currently reading this with a Y10 EAL student who has been living in UK for just over a year. I've been impressed with the use of vocabulary and grammar - we've been able to expand her vocabulary using it particularly in terms of description of facial expressions and ways of moving. Pictures have really helped as well. Great story for a cat loving student - it's been a big success.

A big hit with our daughter
I bought this for my reluctant-to-read eight-year-old daughter today. It’s currently 11pm. She is 120 pages in, clutching the book and begging to be allowed to stay up and read for just a bit longer. We’re so happy. We will be buying more books by Holly Webb.
