Very compact and handy. It can fit in women's handbag easily. Very light. The button to push open the umbrella is safe-guarded so it doesn't pinch your finger. The umbrella is not automatic. You need to press the button to open the umbrella and release it to lock the open position. Until you learn the trick, it may be difficult to lock at first. Once you learn, it's easy.It protects me from the sun light. I noticed the temperature drop immediately under the umbrella. The dot pattern is cute as well.This is, however, cheaply made. Ribs are very weak, and I can tell they will easily break if a strong wind blows. The umbrella is to mainly avoid the sun for me. Even when a wind comes from my front, I have to place the umbrella to the back as long as the sun is on my back. The umbrella catches the wind and makes it difficult for me to keep walking at those times. Ribs are sometimes warped because of that. I have to sometimes straighten them.

Many people hate these cheaper lightweight umbrellas but it’s there own fault. They claim these aren’t strong enough for the harsh weather, which is true, but they aren’t designed for it! These umbrellas are meant for sun showers with little-to-no wind. They aren’t meant for snowstorms. Use them for what they are designed for and you will be happy.

Small enough to fit in a purse or backpack easily, large enough to protect me from the sun, and sturdy even in gusts of wind. I love the light color! It took me a few tries to get it to stay open the first few times, but I think it just needed to be broken in a little. Stays open fine and is easy to close! I was even able to wrap it back up tightly enough to fit smoothly into it's sleeve! I am impressed. This little umbrella will get tons of use this summer ... and in the fall at my kids' flag football games.

I purchased this umbrella primarily for sun protection. I got the blue one and its just as cute, small, lightweight and compact as advertised. The reason I give it only 3 stars it that it seems very flimsy. Yesterday the bottom piece unscrewed and rolled away, and it was lucky that I found it. The fabric seems to be made of a thin coated plastic that seems like it could snag or rip easily. I wouldn't necessarily use this in the rain either because I don't think it would hold up to strong wind. Despite this, it seems to work ok for sun so I'll probably keep it.

We purchased a new blue car and I wanted a travel umbrella to keep in the car for the unexpected afternoon rain storms we get so often in the summer. This compact and lightweight umbrella fits in the extra compartment between the front seats so it is handy to grab when needed. I am visiting my mother in Florida and have used it as a sun umbrella on hot afternoons to keep the sun off my face and arms. The color is perfect for the new car too (I do like things that match.)

This is a pretty good lightweight umbrella pretty small and lightweight enough for one person. When I’m extended it, it did seem a little weak when it’s locked in. I mainly use this as a back up umbrella in my car and stored in glove compartment

I was looking for a mini umbrella which I could carry easily. I carry my laptop wherever and whenever I go somewhere. I am happy how it fits in my laptop bag's side pocket so easily. It's really handy and light-weight at the same time. Overall, I like this umbrella.

The size of this umbrella is perfect for my 6 year old. She wanted one she could take to school and this one works great. Overall good quality umbrella.
