Great phone for the price
So, I wanted to have this phone for a while before writing a review. I am giving it five stars because it does everything it says and more. The touch screen is very responsive, and the battery lasts all day, sometimes longer if I'm not on it constantly. I can download plenty of apps, there is a decent amount of space on the phone, and the speed is excellent! It's durable. I've dropped it several times already and it has held up. Granted, I also got a phone case for it. But cases are relatively cheap compared to my last phone (a Maxx 2)My one complaint is the photo quality. It does fine if you're zoomed out. But if you try to zoom in, or take pictures of moving scenery, it blurrs, which was an issue I didn't have with my last phone. But I have learned to get around that. The finger pad reader had always worked and I have never had an issue with it.

Phone works great for the price. One small issue that bugs me tho'
It's a pretty good phone! The only thing really bugging me is an Amazon ad stuck like a wallpaper on my home screen. I can't seem to get rid of it no matter what I try. If anyone knows the solution to get this thing off my phone, that'd be great! Overall, this is a good phone for the price. Super easy to set up with my carrier (Republic Wireless). I wish it had more storage space, but I suppose that can be remedied with a micro SD card.

Good phone for price
This phone is a good phone for the money. I added a 64 gb sd card to increase its storage. I disabled all apps that would not be used and erased what I could. Comes with quite a few. Since it only has 2gigs of ram u need to keep the number of processes low and keep home screen free from clutter. Don't use tons of widgets. Screen is good but doesnt take very good pictures or video. Makes and receives calls very good. Ear speaker is good. Speaker for music is located on back and is just ok. Battery lasts well. Mild use and it will last more than a day without charge. Fingerprint scanner works flawlessly. Also doubles as a power button. A common problem people have is the sticker on the back. I put a case on the phone first thing so it's not bothersome to me. I'll update this review if opion of phone changes

ability to merge internal and SD storage please
Works on my Verizon post-paid line. Not sure why others are having issues, could be incompatible with pre-paid lines but Amazon should still clarify.Anyways, so far its been a good phone. Its quick enough for me, but if you play a lot of 3D games you probably will want something with a better SoC. The Snapdragon 425 in the K30 uses Adreno 306 GPU (according to CPU-Z) works fine for 2D apps and games that most people use.Doesn't seem to support adoptable SD storage so even if you do want to play 3D games you'll be limited on how many you can have installed at any one time by the ~8gb of free space on the internal storage. This limited internal memory for apps and games with no way to expand it is the reason I decided to give 3/5 stars. Worrying about internal storage space is a pain that makes the whole phone worse.**edit 7/7/18** I found a workaround/hack to partition the SD card to be partially seen as internal storage. Helps some but not completely as some apps will not install to internal SD card partition. Picture illustrates this; the 32 GB SD card has been partitioned into 22GB internal (intSD), and 8GB external (seen as normal removable storage)Serviceable camera, it takes pictures quickly and LG's camera app is surprisingly tolerable and worth using for the speed it offers. The pictures it produces are the worst aspect of the camera experience. they appear low resolution despite the 8mp sensor and LGs processing algorithims excessively oversharpen a few random edges per shot. This is my experience with LG phones in the past, having decent or even fantastic hardware let down by terrible post processing. That's for well lit outdoor shots. Indoors you can take pictures. Generally you can tell what they are of, but there is a lot of noise in most shots."Amazon Prime" discount doesn't seem to come with many downsides I can tell. there are some preinstalled apps and they cannot be uninstalled completely (system apps they are), but they don't seem to intrude. no lockscreen ads, amazon appstore not even installed.screen is nice. only 720p, but otherwise not a bad panel.fingerprint reader is faster and more accurate than my iPhone 6+ was. Placement on the back takes a bit to get used to.speaker is terrible. Fine for alarms, but anything else it is tinny and distorts at moderate volume.Edit 7/25/10: I also wanted to add that it does come with the fantastic LG classic; "Accapella Goodmorning" alarm tone. 10/10 alarm clock experience.

LG K30, best budget phone. You can call it the "Budget LG V30 phone"....
I bought the LG K30 as a quick replacement for my now lost LG V30, no insurance. I wanted to stay with LG since the V30 became the BEST phone I ever owned. I wanted a quick budget phone replacement and the K30 nails it. I bought it as a Prime Exclusive Phone for $125.99.Works just fine on my AT&T network. The K30 is very impressive for being a budget phone, you almost forget it is. It has a Beautiful design with metal and glass. You can see its roots of LG for 3rd gen phone (K series/V series).Metal to glass designFingerprint sensor/power button on backNice crisp screenTap to wake feature2018 specsSolid clear winner here in the Budget phone Class......

Perfect phone for Oscar the Grouch.
The right side of the screen does not work. I can't use the letter 'P' or the 'delete' button when I am texting. For no reason at all, it will register that I am repeatedly hitting the multiple windows button on the bottom, totally glitching out the phone, mimicking my own almost constant mental hysteria, resulting in shutting that sucker right off. I'm constantly reminded I am running out of space, and I quite literally only use calming sounds playlists on Spotify in order to soothe my phone induced hysteria. It will mute my texting and alarm notifications like it wants to ruin my social and professional life. About every 2 1/2 minutes the screen will light up like I'm getting a text, and cause my social and emotional sense of worth to plummet, as there has been no text or call or quite literally anything that I need to be alerted about. What I do like about this phone: It is, in fact, a phone, and I really appreciate honest advertising.
