TIG Welder: DEKOPRO 205Amp 110V/220V DC Dual Voltage Tig/Stick/Clean Welders with Foot Pedal Interface Pulse TIG ARC Welding Machine Kit

Arrived on time and no shipping damage. Powers on both voltages but have only welded MMA/SMAW so far on 220v. It ran 7018 1/8 , 5 sticks back to back. Hot start and arc force adjustable.The stinger got hot after the 3rd rod. The stinger internals appear to be copper but are significantly smaller. the lead wires are full copper stranded, but the ground clamp is CHEAP. I have a extra stinger lead from my PrimeWeld 225x and swapped out the dinse 35 connector to the DekoPro Dinse 25 and upgraded to a Tweco style 200a ground clamp. Extra gas hose is included to get from regulator to back of machine. I ordered a gas cooled dinse connector because it did not come with one and swapped out the torch it came with for my CK Worldwide flex 17 I had laying around. I had to modify the front cover and cut some plastic around the terminal and trim the terminal ring some to get the gas connector to twist lock with out rubbing or hitting anything on gas fitting.I ran it for a solid 3 hours on tig 2t and pulse. All pulse parameters worked. Gas performed correctlySo far VERY happy with it considering how well it works, how much it cost, what other expenses needed to be made to make it a solid machine, and what little modifying was required to do.

I picked this unit for the TIG function and along with my other induction driven welders- now I can tackle any repair needed out at a remote mine site- with the welder being powered by a portable 5500-watt gas generator that easily supplies enough 220 V AC. current to run this machine. This welding machine is very easy to adjust and even runs great on the end of a 25 ft. -6 Guage extension cord with no overheating or voltage dropping for gate welding, etc. - in-place, onsite. This is an excellent multiuse welding machine for this low price and seems durable with a strong handle for lifting or positioning to a welding table, back of a truck, etc. With everything needed except the pedal for aluminum welding / brazing- and welding rods- this unit is well designed for anyone to setup and use. Excellent find!
