Review: Wonderful -- and effective! - This is one of three Usborne math books that we recently purchased. None of them disappointed! Even though one of them won't be used by my children for a few years due to the advanced level, I can already recognize the value it will provide. I should add that our two oldest children (grades 3 and 1) are not 'naturals' in math. It's been a struggle. I highly recommend the Usborne math books as they were an instant hit, and made a rather trying subject fun - and many of the things in the book really did stick! This is typically colorful and visually appealing to my children, and makes even 'advanced' concepts easy for them to understand. Super!

This is one of three Usborne math books that we recently purchased. None of them disappointed! Even though one of them won't be used by my children for a few years due to the advanced level, I can already recognize the value it will provide. I should add that our two oldest children (grades 3 and 1) are not 'naturals' in math. It's been a struggle. It is an awesome reference book for both the agents and the kids. The mathematical terms are very well explained. It's a book that should find a place in every house with elementary grade kids irrespective of their interest in math. I would strongly recommend school to have copies in their libraries too
