Very Easy to Use
This product has been incredibly useful for helping prevent reactions to jewelry, instrument keys, belt buckles and other items for my son who we just learned has an allergy.

Nickel testing on the go, so you always know
I have severe nickel allergy proven by dermatologist's testing. They advised me to get a nickel testing kit. Back then, that meant a jar you kept at home. When that expired, I searched & found this option. I can keep one of these in my purse, so if I see something that I want at one of those stores w/ a no return policy, I can know right there if it's OK for me. Also more convenient than returning, but has also saved me from many "bad" purchases on websites that don't answer the question. This tells me in a minute. My only complaint is that the glass is hard to break for me. This is my second purchase of this item.

1 out of 10 testers unusable
The testers work and are easy to use. Only complaint is that one of the testers was empty with no glass vile of testing fluid inside. So only 9 out of 10 testers usable. See photo, 1 full, 1empty

Works fast and will save me from my allergies.
So I had this awesome vintage necklace.... after wearing it for 4 hours, I took it off to find a small rash. Well the rash grew all over my neck, up my face and was immensely itchy and painful. I ended up going to urgent care and after having to get 3 different medications for a nickel allergy, I decided to purchase this kit to test the necklace just to be sure (because it is really cute). I got it today and tested the necklace. The white swab part didn't just turn red, it immediately turned red. The whole necklace is loaded with nickel. I'm really happy to have a kit now to let me know before I go and buy any more vintage jewelry.

It works as described
It works as it described it would. The price was quite steep as there is so many things that need to be tested and you only get 10 testers and can only be used once each if it turns pick when nickel is detected. Nickel shows up on quite a few things.

Test is not sensitive enough
If you are looking to determine which metal surfaces in your environment contain nickel, this is not the tool for that. The nickel content needs to be fairly significant for this tester to change colors. I know that because I've been having reactions on my hands, and switched to gloves, so reactions were gone. When I tested all those surfaces, nothing came out negative with this test kit, except for one item that I rarely use. That just doesn't add up... It was a waste of money. Not sure who all the other reviewers are, reviews just too positive for the reality...
