These are much smaller than you might think, given the measurements on the website. That measurements are not based on the width and height of the useable portion of the dish. The stated width includes the handles and the stated height includes the lid all the way to the top of the knob hand. The size of the upper edge of the square (including the width of the glass) is 7-3/4" x 7-3/4" X3"". Other than that the pots are thick enough to be sturdy and to evenly hear the food. They're quite serviceable and a good value.
