As you can see from the picture you CAN get the clip through and on to the ID holder. The person that couldn't must have not been trying. It holds the ID well, looks processional, and will last longer! The company issued id holders were are brittle plastic and I have broken 3 of them. This should last much longer.The only thing that I would change is - they should not have both attachment types stuck on there. They should do one or the other or make them removable.

Exactly what I was looking for. I would like to see it in a few other color options, but it has been holding up alright for the past few weeks. I like how it is leather and not plastic. It appears to be not full grain but at this price point, it is to be expected. I haven't used the lanyard, only the ID card holder.

I use this at my waist, hooked on to a belt loop, and it is really working out well for me. I was initially put off by the additional length that the hook/hanger adds overall - it dangles a bit - but I've used it for several weeks now and am used to it.The clip has robust construction and I no longer have to scrape my belt when I put it on. I also like the solid construction of the badge holder. I don't have to worry that I'm going to bend my badge anymore.

You definitely get what you pay for - I’ve only had this about a month and the sewing is already coming apart, and the material gets gross super easily

Hot this for work. Fits a laminated card very easily. Lost it outdoors for a week and then found it. Even being left outside for a week in the WA cold and rain this little guy held up! Still looks and works like the day I got it! I never thought I would use a word like “impressive” to describe something like a badge lanyard, but that’s exactly what it is. Impressive!
