Oh man, I’m so excited about this calculator. I don’t technically need to use a calculator super often, but I will find more reasons to need one so that I can use this one!I absolutely love the key caps and mechanical sound (shown in video) that the Cypher 21 has. When you first receive the calc, the sound is on, so there will be a loud, sharp beep with every keystroke, but you can easily turn it off by pressing the AC and the - at the same time (noted in the manual).There is a really pretty backlight to the keys, an easy-to-read display, and it’s super cool that this has Bluetooth connection options — not that I’ll probably ever use them, but I can see how that’d be really nice for some folks.Obviously, I ordered this largely because I love how it looks and sounds, but it’s a nice gadget from a more practical perspective, as well. Highly recommend - great price!

I have been searching far and wide for a good numpad, i own the keychron q0, idobao montex and Atlantis numpad. First off the wisteria switches sound great, they're really smooth and give a very satisfying long pole clack.In comparison the the list of numpads I own, this sounds the best out of the box. The keyboard game is all about preference, so if i had to describe it, this keyboard has very nice midrange foamy sound that is usually what people are looking for and when pairs very well with the switches. the stabs are lubed enough that i don't see a need to take this apart and do it myself. Both the q0 and Montex both sound terrible and I've modded those to oblivion.It loses one star from me for 2 reasons. the first is that there's lots of LED's but none for the screen, that's more of an odd design choice if the calculator function is important for you (it's not really for me) and second when you turn this on, the beep is rather loud and sharp.Aesthetically, i don't love the caps, but that's more of a preference and i'm going throw some GMK's on since i have extra but all in all, I wouldn't mind if this was the only numpad i own.

This product is honestly laughably bad. I do not recommend it to anyone.First and foremost - the buzzer is so freaking annoying I just can't understand why they would include it. I don't understand the functionality that the buzzer provides in the first place and secondly why would they make the buzzer sound SO ANNOYING. Thirdly, whoever decided that incredibly annoying buzzer sound should be on by default every single time you turn the device on, should be immediately fired and blacklisted from the business. Who wants to hear an annoying sound on every single key press??? If you're going to give it sounds, at least make the sound vary per key like a touch-tone phone, then maybe the sound provides some level of utility as an audible indicator of whether you pressed the right button if you're typing without looking at the screen. And every time you turn it on you have to do an akward 2-button key combo to turn the beep sound off. What a joke!!! It's literally so annoying that I'm either going to disassemble this thing and physically remove the buzzer, or just throw the whole thing in the trash.The number keys sit about 1.5" off the desk which is WAY too high for my liking. It feels very unnatural to me to use this and I have very large hands...somebody with smaller hands would have to completely lift their wrist off the desk to be able to reach the top row of keys.When connected to a PC, the AC key functions as an ESC key. This annoys me because of the placement it's very easy to press accidentally and that can have inconvenient consequences depending on what you're doing on the PC.Definitely can't use this product in a dark room. There is a no backlight for the display so if you want to use this as a standalone calculator then you will need a good bit of light in the room. Also the backlight for the keys is a joke...it doesn't even help you see which key is which...it just kinda lights up behind the keys which has no utility and is just for aesthetics.The rotary knob sucks...it's too stiff. Should be easier to turn and one revolution should have more detents. I guess it's nice to have a physical volume control knob for your computer but this one is just akward to use.

This is a decent numpad but I’m not really loving it. The switches are nice and the keycaps are great as well. It’s cool that you can use it as a regular calculator.Some complaints include:- the build materials; the plastic body feels weighty but a bit cheesy with the simple gloss ABS. The knob feels similarly cheesy unfortunately.- it would be a huge plus if the screen was backlit. It is hard to read if you’re not under direct light.- only white LED backlight for the keys. Not really a problem for me as I don’t keep keyboard lights on, but it’s a bit surprising to see something without color or pattern options.- it doesn’t remember your sound settings if you turn it off. The beeping it does when you press keys is incredibly annoying, not a smooth or pleasant sound at all. I just let it idle until it times out and goes to sleep to get around that.With all this in mind, it’s hard for me to recommend this for a numpad unless you really want a calculator or it perfectly matches your desk aesthetic. At this price point with so many other options out there, I think there are better values for your dollar.

Functional and usable enough. The build in calculator and buzzer is kind of a gimmick. Hand to have a calculator ready at hand, but then again it's not hard to just open the calculator program on the computer. The AC button is slightly annoying as it shortens the 0 button and I have a tendency to accidentally hit the AC button instead of 0. Bluetooth was a bit of a disapointment. Most Mechanical Keyboard/Numpads on the market with build in Bluetooth can connect to 3 different Bluetooth devices. This would be more usable if I could actively switch between 3 computers with the numpad
