Civilian Irish Grandfather Collarless Shirt, Cotton and Linen Long-Sleeve Traditional Irish Shirt

Bought as a gift for my husband. Wow, even more beautiful in person. I love the color and fit on him. It’s a really well made, and beautifully detailed shirt. So glad I got this for him and he loves it too!

I have several of these shirts in various colors but this may be my favorite. Color is deep and rich.Buttons are a little difficult but really add to the overall design of the shirt.Exceedingly comfortable.

2x fit great in the shoulders and arm length. Couldn’t bottom it around my belly. I’m a bigger guy but not that big.

This is a very nice, well-made shirt. I'm 5-10/170 and based on the reviews I got the 2XL and it fits loosely but well - shoulder seams are in the right place and the sleeve length is good. If it shrinks a little or not, it will still be okay.The shirt label says 90/10 cotton/linen and the fabric has a very nice feel. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is that there is no label stating where the shirt was made. I have to assume it's not Ireland or it would say so.

I first 'took the risk' of buying these two years ago, and I was not disappointed. The quality is superb, the fabric is divine, the detail is excellent and the two I originally purchased are my daily shirts nowadays.After a successful diet, I moved down a size and, whilst the original shirts are perfectly serviceable - in fact, they still look like new - it became obvious that I needed something a little less 'billowing'. There was not a moment of doubt about which shirts to buy.You may be thinking that +/- 50 USD is a lot for a casual shirt, but as I said earlier, my original two are still in near perfect condition. IF they have faded, I cannot tell, and in fact, I don't believe they have.These two new, XL shirts are just as well made, and just as perfect as their predecessors.I fully intend to buy more and remove the plethora of cheap shirts that are cluttering up my wardrobe.OK - So I guess I HAVE to find some negatives too, right? Else you're all going to think I work for the company! So here goes:Because of the design, and the gazillion buttons - ironing takes longer than on a normal shirt.For the first few uses, the small buttons can be a little tricky to close.Yep - that's all I've got!GET THEM! You won't be disappointed.

Took a chance on buying this shirt and was not disapointed at all, its super soft, very nice color (though i do recommend getting the petrol colored one first or the stone colored)There are 2 things that i do have to complain about though they are personal preferances1; the buttons feel WAY too small, almost as if they are for breast pockets or more feminin clothing (i got big meaty hands so other people may differ)2; the price now for around about $54 usd (by the time of writing this review) is a pretty steep buy its going around the prices of some wild west reenactment supply shops.If your thinking about buying a shirt for yourself or a cowboy in training i wpuld be hard pressed to find another shirt like this in your regular stores, if you dont mind small buttons or a semi steep price tag
