Do you only put this in the tray, or do you also put some in the clean water tank before you run the clean out cycle?

So I have two different Crosswaves. The one which is cordless has you put it in the tank and has a Cleanout button. For my older Crosswave, I just put the 2 oz in the tray. And then I follow up with another quick clean with water.

I've owned mulipiple Bissel floor cleabers - loved them all - and never used the cleaning solution. I missed out. This stuff is GREAT! It really cleans all of the internal parts of my machines. Using it has kept my machines super effetive and efficient. Love it!
