My 14 year old son is 5’6 and 140 pds.I purchased a men’s medium. Fits great with room to grow. It’s made with fur throughout the inside of the coat, so it’s super warm. It also repels the rain. My teen loves it so that’s a huge win in my book.

MY MOVERS STOLE MY LAST COAT THAT I HAD FOR MANY YEARS. THIS WAS AS CLOSE AS I COULD FIND. IT HAS AN OBNOXIOUS BUT REMOVABLE FAUX FUR BAND ON THE HOOD WHICH I PROMPTLY AND PERMANENTLY DID REMOVE. THE HOOD IS ALSO REMOVABLE BUT I LIKE IT IN CASE IT GETS REALLY COLD, WHICH OCCASIONALLY HAPPENS HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA, TO PROTECT MY EARS AND NECK. THE TWO WAY ZIPPER IS A RARE FIND ON THESE TYPES OF COATS. BEING ABLE TO FULLY ZIP IT UP OUTDOORS IS GREAT. THE BONUS OF IT UNZIPPING IT FROM THE BOTTOM UP IS PHENOMENAL WHEN I GET IN THE CAR MAKING IT MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE WHEN SEATED IN THE CAR WITH ITS MANDATORY SEAT BELTS. THE COAT ALSO HAS ARM SLING BANDS SO THAT YOU CAN CARRY IT LIKE A BACK PACK IF THE TEMPERATURE RISES OR YOU ARE INDOORS SHOPPING IN A MALL OR A STORE FREEING UP YOUR HANDS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY IT IN YOUR HANDS, GREAT VALUE AS IT WAS ON A VERY REDUCED PRICE.

It has kept me very warm in sub-zero temps.Yes, more useable pockets would be nice. Just having the two is my one star ding.I'm surprised it's only a little over 4 lbs shipping weight becasue it's a heavy one. The included backpack type straps could be helpful.Nice warm hood. It's an igloo shape fully buttoned and zipped. I take it off and wear a stocking hat mostly.Large strong zipper on the coat.We will see how well it holds up but good so far.

I was worried after reading a few reviews but my coat arrived perfect and when it's on I'm very warm!My only downer is if you don't have a long sleeve shirt on when your wearing it, the material in the arms sticks to your skin. Other than that it's perfect!I'm going into this winter knowing I'll be nice and comfortable in any weather this cold cold season has in store for me!

Got this for my son for Xmas and as it was delivered in an amazing fancy box & vacuum sealed it was easy to wrap and present. Once he opened it we were both mind blown at the quality! Living in MN we get some seriously cold winters and this coat has the feel of an expensive down winter coat and is so appealing. Material is amazing. I cannot believe I found such quality at such a low price on Amazon! Exceeded expectations!! Size wise it seems to run true to size. If you want to layer under it, I'd go a size up for sure.
