Q: Why does the app need your location?

Hello, I haven't purchased this product but, noticed your question and had wanted to offer some insight as far as Android devices go. GPS location is a requirement for all Bluetooth device connections that communicate with an app. Developers do not have a way around that. The current OS allows you to set to only allow GPS while the app is opened; however, that would mean that if the app were to close, the connection may also close and reconnection would be a tad delayed. I'm not sure if iOS and Windows have the same requirement but, it is entirely possible. Hope this helps!

Hello, friends, the thickness of the lower part of the mask is between 1.5-1.8 cm. This product does not add any sound insulation material, and it will not affect your voice under normal circumstances.
