Flocking Fibers 1 Ounce Package (Red)

This works very well in the crafting projects I use it for. I apply by brushing on a layer of glue on the item or portion of the item I am working with, then carefully applying a layer of flocking. I let that dry completely then very gently tap off or lightly brush off any extra. I repeat the process two or three times until I get a nice even velvety coating if the flocking on the item I am working on. I find the flocking to be of good quality and accurate color to that on my monitor when ordering.

This is great material that, if used correctly, works as you would expect. My only hint is to NOT touch the area, or even handle it for that matter, the flocking project your are working on until a day. Not an hour...a DAY... you'll be surprised how much 'more better' your project will be if you adhere to that point of advice. In the photo, I haven't brushed anything off yet, if you see some high areas, it's because I haven't waited... a DAY yet ;)

I love the variety of colors this retailer has available. Speedy shipping, good quality. I ordered flocking powder for a project - I originally bought a variety pack elsewhere and was disappointed with the colors that I received. While I paid a little more for specific colors, it was worth it in the end because you get a lot for the value you pay.

My husband asked me to purchase this for him. He is a taxidermist and said It is great for what he needed it for.

This is good flocking but if you’re going to do more than a couple ornaments you’ll need a whole lot more! I use a wire mesh strainer. No adhesive besides paint or mod podge is necessary. They are the adhesives. I actually put 2 coats of paint on first then the third is the one to adhere the fibers. I also once dry 24 hrs, use a slightly watered down modpodge mix to put over that layer and put a second layer of flocking on then use a clear matte spray on matte sealer. They turn out very velvety and pretty.

So fun!!!!! Never knew this existed! Had a blast changing up my characters for my cards!!!!!

Works wonderfully! VERY BRIGHT! Seems like a small amount of, but great coverage so a little goes a long way! I’ll be ordering more colors!
