Having listened to a lot of speakers I am hugely impressed with these. A 10" speaker usually means a loss in sound quality and the smaller speakers often offer an assault on your eardrums with awful top end and a lack of bass. This means to get a smaller speaker you have to spend more to also get the sound quality - this is the only speaker I've heard at this size that is comparable to a £500 Yamaha. Light weight, portable and good sound quality that doesn't need a sub. I needed a portable system for small to medium sized events that I could store with ease in my flat and move easily in my car.
