So grand
It's such a lovely series. It almost feels unreal for a single father to be able to raise their daughter, in the city. I guess that's how things were back in 2004 of Japan.

Volume 3 Review
By now anyone who does not know about how great Yotsuba manga series is should read the reviews in volume 1 and if you must know Yotsuba is one of the rare mangas where you do not necessarily have to buy volume 1 to know what's going on, since you can technically buy any volume and enjoy the story since there is no continuation from the last volume (though what happened prior does get mentioned), but even with that said, please start from volume 1 as you will get a better understanding of the series. Well unto the review!Volume 3 starts off with the emphasis between Yotsuba and Asagi. Though have a huge age difference, they have one of the closest bonds within the series (exception would be Yotsuba and her father). This volume features stories of Yotsuba dealing with fireworks, finding out Jumbo's occupation, dressing up as a flower girl (or should I say Flower Cupid), going to the zoo and eventually watching a fireworks show. Each story transitions very well and is filled with many funny moments as you have been expected from this series.Do yourself a favor and get this volume if you have been a fan since volume 1 or if you are simply tired of cliche mangas out there (I'm looking at you shonen and shoujo mangas) then this series is for you.

Summer Fun and Bliss
Volume 3 of Yotsuba continues with main focus around summertime. The bulk of the tales within revolves around different Japanese holidays and traditions, with the usual charming antics one has come to expect of Yotsuba. It also introduces us to some new characters like a friend of Asagi, Jumbo' s father and more. Which really is a nice touch to flesh out the town with new faces. If your looking for a feel good story, then I highly recommend Yotsuba as one never fails to warm the heart. And like volume 2 each chapter is generally it's own contained story so it's easy to start up with this volume and not feel to lost.

Volume three of Yotsuba is my personal favorite as it has the Bon Festival and Fireworks story arcs as well as the classic elephant story. One was definitive and two was great with "Yotsuba and Revenge" and many other classic stories,;four and five were fine enough with five having what could have been a perfect ending for the series but number three will always be the best Yotsuba to me.I did not buy this volume on Amazon having found it at Barnes and Noble but I most certainly have read and enjoyed it many times.

Adorable as ever.
I continued to be amazed at how the artist could fit such a grand level of cuteness and innocence into this manga. There really is a reason that it is so popular. If you're buying Vol 3 then you already know what 1 and 2 are like, so I'll just say that volume 3 was just as good as the 1st and the 2nd. You won't be disappointed.
