Yes … we DO care
I recently had the pleasure of finishing Sean’s book that delves into the (often misunderstood) world of Philadelphia sports fans. He does an excellent job of shedding light on the passion and dedication that define this unique group of supporters.Through a well balanced blend of personal anecdotes, historical context, and insightful analysis, his book paints both a vivid and accurate picture of what it means to be a Philadelphia sports fan.One of the standout features of this book is its ability to humanize the fans. Often labeled as overly aggressive or unsportsmanlike, Philadelphia sports fans are given a voice in this narrative. Sean highlights not only his own experiences but the city’s unwavering loyalty, their deep-rooted connection to their teams, and their resilience in the face of both triumph and adversity. This nuanced portrayal challenges the negative stereotypes and offers a more balanced perspective.Additionally, the book is well-researched and rich with historical references. It traces the evolution of Philadelphia's sports culture, from the early days of the Phillies and Eagles to the modern era of the 76ers and Flyers. This historical backdrop provides readers with a deeper understanding of the city's sports heritage and the factors that have shaped its fan base.In conclusion, ‘No One Likes Us …’ is a must-read for anyone interested in local sports culture, particularly those who want to gain a deeper appreciation for Philadelphia's passionate and often misunderstood sports fans. It's a heartfelt tribute to the people who live and breathe Philadelphia sports, and it successfully captures the essence of what makes them so special.

Throw some snowballs at Santa….. We aren’t that bad!
So they threw snowballs at a drunk guy that was playing Santa, and one guy threw some batteries and young Cutter couldn’t cut it. Guess what we ain’t that bad. We gave a standing ovation to one the best hockey players to play the game when he came back from cancer, we embraced a young third baseman who was having a bad run and was caught saying some bad words and then of course a standing ovation to the shortstop changed his season around. These are just some of the stories you will read about in this great little book. Read the entire book in just three short sessions. Well done Sean

Great book for any Sports Fan
Amazing book! Gets to the heart of being a true fan. Takes you thru the highs and the lows of following our philly sports teams. Hopefully every sports enthusiast will be able to relate in some way to the feelings contained in the story telling. Great job pulling you into his world by detailing his memories, some brought back my own memories growing up in the philadelphia area.

A good read for sports fans of any city.
This book is a great read for the most avid Philadelphia sports fans, but just as good for the so-so fans and sports fans of other cities. I don't fit into the avid sports fan category but was amazed how many memories the book brought back to me.

A true representation of a Philly sports fan
This book should be read by not only Philly sports fans, but sports fans all over. Philly sports fans seem to always get a bad rap. There has been things in the past that allowed that to happen. But this is a new generation, and this book does a fantastic job showcasing that. It shines a special light on the Philadelphia sports fans that others need to realize. The book was beautifully written, and many former Philadelphia athletes were used to backup the claims made. It was a joy to read. With Christmas coming up in a couple months, this is a great gift for the sports fan in your life! You won’t regret getting this!

Not just about Philly a true fan perspective!
I know the title of the book will lead some to disregard the subject matter. The book in itself is one truly of a fan’s perspective. The feelings of loss and highs jump off the page, and cause you to become more engaged in the overall story. This is not just about Philly sports but about the love and excitement from just a plain sports fans perspective.
