I used this on my Dood Axel. This was my first time ever grooming him so I don’t have much to compare it to. Battery lasted a long time. I had to use a pretty big guard on my first pass and then come back through with a smaller one to get through his hair (no mats, combed before I started). The color coded blades made it easier for a newby like me.

Even fully charged these clippers do not have the strength to cut anything. With the guards on they are useless. With the guards off you basically have to go in slow motion to take off minimal amounts of hair. And don’t even get me started on the scissors that come with it. They can’t even cut paper. I would say that the only dog these clippers would work on would be a short haired dog like a chihuahua. Very disappointed.
