I want to add an in line fuse to this camera. What would be the right size fuse in amps?

The wire guage on this camera is very small, and the draw on the camera is certainly very low (especially because it does not have IR LEDs). Also, the reverse light/taillight circuits are already fuse protected and with much beefier wire. Considering the draw on this is probably ~500ma, you might want a 1.5A fuse, although because of the thin wire, this may or may not exceed the current capacity of the wire, thus defeating the purpose. If you are dead set on fusing this I would maybe start at 500ma and be prepared to move up to 1A? But fusing it is not needed.

I cut the white wire, powered it up...and have guidelines from my display and the camera. any tips to fix?

Try reattaching the white wire (if you have enough of it left, strip both ends, twist, optionally solder, and tape it). Mine did the same thing-- the wires were reversed from the instructions. Cutting the green wire got rid of the lines.

Quality could improve but great for the price

The video quality is alright. For the price, I can't compliant. I'm not using it to watch movies or anything. So it gets the job done, easy to wire, and the provided drill bit was very useful! The actual cable was shorter than I'd like. It was just barely enough for my 2011 Prius, so you may have to buy an extra analog video cord for your install.

This is better than most I’ve seen.

I love the fact it came with the bit needed to drill the installation hole. Perfect fit. Didn’t take long to install. I installed it on my little corolla and love it every time I park.

Easy install on my 2013 escape

Easy to install, the pictures show it, but if bony cut the wire loops you won’t have the guide lines and the video will be reversed for a video screen that is in front of you like on the dash
