a decent entry level ebike with a few compromises
For $300 I think you'd be hard pressed to find much better. There were other ebikes in the same price range that were a bit quicker or had better suspension, but were compromised in other ways.Pros:- Overall decent build quality, I haven't had anything break on me- Wheels seem small at first but they make tight turns easily, which is important if you're using this for commuting- Step through frame makes it very easy to get on and off- It reaches the advertised 20 mph in PAS 3, making it possible to keep up in light traffic on side streets, though you'll likely want to stick to bike lanes and sidewalks along major roads- The digital display gives you more information than other ebikes in a similar price range including an odometer and speedometer- Battery is a bit larger than average for a cheap ebike, I get about 20-25 miles on a charge in PAS 2. You can probably get more if you can tolerate dropping down to PAS 1.- The large disc brakes feel very safe and I have never had trouble stopping quicklyCons:- It's a $300 bike so you're not going to be getting anywhere very quick- Front suspension helps a bit but I live in the midwest where there's almost no blacktop and this thing can be pretty rough going over cracks and bumps- The included headlight does an ok job but drains the battery quickly, I highly suggest buying a nice rechargeable headlight and rear running light to be safe during night rides- You sometimes have to turn it off and on again to get a more accurate estimate of remaining battery life. It will appear closer to dead than it really is when you're riding the throttle a lot.- Pedaling above PAS 1 on a flat surface is almost impossible, the chainring is too small to keep upOther than that I would suggest getting a left side bar end mirror if you plan on riding in traffic at all so you're not turning your head all the time. Overall its a good value for the money and I can't complain because it's getting me to the store and work reliably ✌️

its a fun ebike for local use
updating 3 stars to 5 stars, customer service made it right helping me with the issues i am having with only getting 4 to 10 miles on PAS mode not pure power per charge. not 25/55 miles per charge.i wish this bike had 7 speed shift gear, 1 speed isnt enough, and wish it had better take off speed instant power and rapid acceleration you can get from an e-bike's throttle, taking off from stop light / stop sign using throttle isnt instant you have to pedal as well to take off fast.also side speed is level 1 5/6mph which is legal speed on a side walk but to me not fast enough and level 2 is 9/12 mph way to fast for side walk. wish i could change the settings. To remove the battery from an e-bike or unlock it, the key has three lock settings:Unlock: 1. insert key thats it, then PUSH hard youll feel the lock and key go inside the battery, Then turn it all the way to the left then pull up handle.Battery Off (Default): This is the default position when the key is inserted, so to turn it back off when its on, just turn the key left from right tell it cant go left, unless you are pushing way in then youll unlock the battery.Battery On/Bike On: Turn the key all the way to the right without pushing it in.A common issue people report is that the battery won't come out. This often happens because they insert the key and can turn it to the right but cannot turn it to the left. To fix this, you must push the key in firmly, then turn it all the way to the left to unlock the battery.

I followed the directions putting this together and rode it for weeks without issue until yesterday when my front wheel spontaneously fell off and had my first near death experience… I would maybe buy a bike from a shop where they put it together and service it for you because having people assemble this themselves is wild

A little squirrely until you get used to the small tires.
Good low budget buy.Lots of fun just stay on pavement or hard surfaces. Needs you to use the pedal assist on hills but still never broke a sweat.

Had scooters. Upgraded to bikes and we love them!
This is so much easier to ride and for some reason feels a lot safer than a scooter. Maybe it's the lower center of gravity. Good speed and torque. I look forward to getting another one so my wife and I can ride together! Happy with purchase.
