Amazingly original
Sci-fi without being sci-fi. Heron gives us a story filled with well-developed, heartfelt characters from all types of backgrounds. Witty, wild and wonderful.

super cute and creative
I was in the mood for a mystery romance and this was perfect. The PG rated romance was actually super cute and added a great touch. I was so involved in the relationship. As for the time travel part, I mean…. I loved the idea, so it gets points for that, but why is everyone so chill about it? Without spoiling it, I just feel like everyone went with it way too easily. Kind of glad the author stuck with the idea though because it was so interesting trying to understand the time frames and how past and present line up. I still have questions…Also, near the end when they were getting close to solving, a bunch of characters started to be introduced. Honestly, it was hard for me to keep up and remember who was who. That might be my fault.Overall, I would recommend. I read it in about eight hours, took my time, sat on some ideas and leads. The writing was good and I felt like I was there in the story.

Twists and turns with a dash of well done paranormal
It’s not often I’m moved to review but I seriously loved this story! Twists and turns with a dash of well done paranormal that kept me page turning well past bedtimes. The characters all blossomed into 3D beautifully the more I read and now I just want to know more of the future adventures of the crew. The exploration of time and anomaly was so clever and fun, and especially loved the weaving of threads from the beginning that leads to fun eureka moments later on. Well done! Will be looking for more from Farah Heron.

WOW This Was Great
What a creative storyline - it kept me hooked. Twists and turns throughout. I could "feel" the characters, which always makes for good reading. I read a lot and I have to say I have never come across an interesting plot like this. I absolutely love how this author writes so smoothly. It was very easy to follow along and the mystery kept me wondering what was going to happen next. The only thing not absolutely perfect is the fact that I am still wondering "how" all that happened. Maybe another book in the future from this author will help answer that question (hint hint - write another one lol). I am really, really glad I chose this as my First Reads book this month. FINALLY a good one!

mesmerizing time slip mystery
This is one of the best sci-fi books I've read this year. The idea of two people communicating from two time lines is not new (The Lake House is referenced quite frequently and my husband and I loved that movie), but this did not seem like an imitation. It was very well done with characters that grew on me. The plot twisted and turned, yet was believable. I hoped it would have at least a satisfying, even if not happy, ending, and I was not disappointed. I also enjoyed getting to know more about Toronto and the Indian/south Asian immigrant community.

Great Book
I really enjoyed this book! It was a fun time travel book that had me guessing and was mind bending but not overly complicated. I enjoyed all the different characters and their different worlds. My normal genre is mysteries and time travel and this book kept me turning the pages to see what happens next. I highly recommend it!!

A fun exciting page turner
I loved this story, one of the best I've read in a minute. The pacing is so good you want to keep reading, and you can't help but feel for the characters and all the challenges of their youth. The slow burn romance is just the icing. It's so sweet and goes so well, mystery of it all. It's just a very enjoyable easy read, and you should definitely give it a try.

WOW
Heart warming mystery which great characters, twists, and a touch of romance. This book is PG and appropriate for tweens and up.My first book by Farrah Heron and I’m so glad I picked it up. Aleeza and Jay’s connection was so strong from the beginning that it had to grow into love… but that’s towards the end.Jack was my favorite character next to Jay. From the beginning I knew there was more to him than first impressions and the way his character develops was addicting.Jay is another one that you really got to feel his growth, although the book is only in Aleez’a POV.Worth the read. Deep but light but poignant. One of my top books foe 2024.

Could not put this book down!
Absolutely loved it from beginning to end! The characters were brilliantly written, the storyline gripping and exciting with some very useful life-lessons thrown in.The beginning of the book lulls you with a slow paced smokescreen after which the pace gets faster and faster until you can't turn the pages quick enough.Fantastic read, can't wait to read more from this author.

fun read
thoroughly enjoyable, twisty, mysterious timey wimey story. A fun, light hearted read. The characters were 19 or 20 but it was suitable for an oldie like me.

A good read
I did enjoy this book. Good characters, an interesting story line with a few twists that gradually uncovered.I was not glued to the book and I felt that it lost itself towards the end a bit - can be enjoyed by all mystery /crime/ slightly time twists ,but maybe more the younger end of readership
