One you get the hang of it, the instructions are really easy to follow. I had one piece break during assembly but it was one the manufacturers had already thought to send a spare. It took me about 2-2.5 hrs to put together like they stated. They didn’t send any glue, which is fine, but you’ll need some and I highly recommend the type that dries clear. That’s what I used and I’m very happy with the glueing, especially the windows which could have gone badly. Nice size for a bookshelf. Solid quality. Great thing that was included for functionality was a back plate that twists to open in order to change the battery. I was a little worried how easily battery replacement was going to be but their solution made it super simple. Great product.

The media could not be loaded. This booknook is just beautiful. It took more than two hours for me but it was totally worth it and fun! I was excited seeing it come together.The pieces are sturdy and easy to snap together. The only problem I ran into was the lighting set up. I thought that the directions were not clear enough so I found a video that had a clearer image of the diagram. This might not be a problem that you run into.Totally worth the purchase and I'll be getting more. I'm hooked!

This was so fun to build! The quality is great and it holds up really well. The size is good for a book shelf with longer shelves. The instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. I loved building this and it looks great with my books.

The kit was pretty straightforward in building, but still had was engaging enough that my family had a lot of fun building the bookstore. It fits nicely on our bookshelf. The materials are of good quality and the lighting really finishes off the bookstore quite nicely. We are very pleased with the book nook.Be aware of one potential issue in the manual. The instructions were a bit misleading (or we were not paying enough attention to the details for the item numbers) on the second page. At the top of the page we were instructed to assemble the books. The instructions then immediately led us to assemble the bookshelf and glue (what turned out should have been other books) to the bookshelf. Upon turning to the next page we realized our error, but it was too late as the glue had already dried. Aside from that, we are very pleased with the final product.

So fun to put together, it was a little challenging understanding the battery part but came out nice! Great quality!

This was a Christmas gift for my 16 year old daughter and she LOVED it! It is very sturdy - made of wood - and the pieces are all well done. She loved putting together all of the little books and drawers. She did laugh that the labels on the spice drawers were repetitive but you can't tell once it's done. She loved the fun book titles and all the little knick-knacks. The only problem she had was with the cauldron. As other reviewers have mentioned, it wouldn't go together and ended up breaking. I offered to help her try to put it together with some glue but she didn't want to. She likes it better without the cauldron - she says if it was up there you wouldn't be able to see things on the wall behind and she really enjoys all those little details. She spent 2 days in her room working on it and loved every second of it. I wish they were a little less expensive because now she wants them all!

Another enjoyable build with the sliding doors. I had a couple of little breaks that there weren't extra pieces for, but they were easily fixed with a touch of glue and were unnoticeable afterward. Really well designed kit. I will say, I did a lot of edge coloring with all the bright colors, and imo, it elevates the kit to a whole new level. I do recommend some double sided tape for mounting the door "windows".I got the kit and a new set of acrylic markers from Amazon at a great price with the spring sale currently in place. 😁

I received it last month but I put it together this Saturday. It is beautiful, smaller than I thought but not a bad thing by me. Very enjoyable to make it. Will get more.Only cons: I was very confused on how to put the acordeon books together. At the same time, the "paper" is actually stickers, however you can't use it as stickers because you need the "front" part of the paper and not the "back" = "sticky" part. Of course I glued it, but perhaps in the future another better idea can be done. And the other thing is where the instructions tell you to put the turn on/turn off touch pad is very uncomfortable to turn on and off once the roof goes on. (but it may be that since this is my first time, I misundenstood the instructions.I would like to add that the "cons" for me were not a deterrent to give 5 starts. It is gorgeous!!
