Exceeded My Expectations
I'm not a camper. I bought this earlier this year, ahead of what promised to be a very active storm season. Basically, I just needed to be able to cook a hot meal and heat water. We broke it out for the first time when Hurricane Zeta struck this past Wednesday and let me just say, after a 5 day stretch with no electricity, I was thanking God I decided to buy this thing. It has performed beyond my expectations. I boiled water for washing dishes and cooked raw burgers, breakfast meats, and scrambled eggs in record time. It heats up FAST. I was using Coleman butane and one can lasted through a surprising amount of uses. Easy to set up and easy to use. Just load the can, unlock it on the front, flip the switch to ignite and control the heat with the front dial. My dad had it going in minutes having never used one like it. He, my mother, and I were in the process of recovering from Covid when that storm hit, so ease of use with this stove meant A LOT.When looking to buy, I considered a couple of different brands and types and glad I settled on this one. It only has one burner, but I didn't really mind it. If you're pressed for space like I am, trust me. You'll want to stick with something this small. It's the perfect size and it performs well. What more could you ask for? If you live in an area prone to bad weather, get yourself a camp stove like this one and stockpile fuel. Best thing you can do for yourself. I'd give this one 4 thumbs up if I could, highly recommend!

Very efficient and portable, useful during emergencies
I never do product reviews but I felt the need to comment on this gas stove - This stove is awesome and it really came in handy whenever we lost power here in Houston during the winter storm outage. I recommended this to all of my friends and family because its very light weight, easy to carry, it comes with a secure container to keep it in, and the butane gas cans are really affordable. The Coleman butane gas tanks aren't sold on Amazon but they cost $3 at Walmart, and they're always selling out so I recommend you stock up on them whenever possible, I order mine online and pick it up in the store. Make sure if you buy a butane gas can that is the right size, I accidentally bought one that was too small. Nonetheless I personally 10/10 recommend this product. Buy it, don't think about it, don't wait until theres a hurricane just buy it and stock up on the gas cans now so you don't go into panic mode whenever the next Hurricane comes to town. Also - a cast iron skillet pairs great with this, they heat up faster and retain heat well so you can be slightly more efficient and make the gas cans last a little longer.

Great little stove for camping, boating, backyard or emergencies.
Video review in action: see link on picture.I like to cook outdoors, especially in the fall. (I always try to cook bacon outside on the back deck so I don't have to clean up the grease splatter in the kitchen.) I have a grill but not one with a side burner. I also have a 2-burner propane stove I've used for ~15 yrs camping. So I went looking and researching for one that I could use at home, at the park, or while camping. I stumbled on the Coleman 1-Burner Butane Stove. You'll want to shop around as I've seen the price vary from $16-35.This stove runs off butane instead of propane like many other camp stoves. The canisters are a bit smaller and should last at least an hour on full flame/heat. The nice thing about this stove is how easy it is to hook up the fuel. I've used a lot of different stoves over the years and most of them use a threaded design. This can be trouble for older children you're trying to teach how to use one and help out, older adults, and folks with dexterity issues (like rheumatoid arthritis or hand injuries for example). With this stove you don't have to thread/twist the canister on. Just drop it in the slot and push down on a lever that locks it into place and pressurizes the system. Then just turn the knob past max till it clicks and the igniter sparks into the gas. It's that easy and you're cooking! There's other things I like about this little stove too. Check out my video review to see how easy it is to operate and what else I like about it! Whether you're using this for camping, boating, back yard BBQ, or as an emergency cooking source when your power goes out, it's a great versatile addition to your gear.

Great stove! Perfect for Coleman Camping Coffee Maker!
I just finished brewing my first pot of coffee using the single burner Coleman Butane Stove! I used the Coleman Camping Coffee maker to make it. It took about 20 mins to brew. I had previously ran a cycle of just water through the coffee maker using my Coleman 2 burner stove. So, what was weird, was on the real coffee run, I filled the pot to the 10 cup mark and the brewing stopped when the pot had, like, 11 cups in it! I guess it had some water in it from the previous, all water cycle. Anyway, the stove worked perfectly. I just inserted the butane canister and locked it down, turned the knob to start/max and on the second try it started! That was the test run. Then I put the coffee maker on the stove and turned the knob to the start/max setting and it light 1st time! It's a great little stove. It weighs next to nothing and includes a plastic carrying case. And, no, it doesn't include the butane cans. No, the filter didn't collapse. No there weren't any grounds in the coffee. Do make sure the lever that controls the pause and serve is in the out position. If it's not Swing open the filer basket and pull it out. Then close the filer basket, I attached photos of the stove with coffee maker, stove without coffee and and a pics of the lever that controls the pause and serve. In the second pic of the pause and sever lever I put a bit of aluminium foil around it to make it stand out more. Oh by the way, I ran the stove indoors. I did leave the back sliding glass door open.

Great stove, great design!
I like this stove a lot! It heats foods fast and boils water very quickly! The design is great, its light, and attractive to look at.. easy to use and basically unlimited on pot/pan size. The only thing really I don't like, is the metal. Its very thin, and deforms very easily. When I got mine, the metal doorway where the fuel can is stowed...was bent up and didn't close properly. I just used some pliers to straighten it and its fine now. Over all I really do like this stove. I have been testing various camp stoves and so far...this one rocks!

Me gustó
Funciona muy bien, está bonita y compacta, el problema es que no trae tanque de gas, pero se puede conseguir en cualquier ferretería así que no es un problema mayor

Coleman Butane cooktop
The cooker arrived early and was just as advertised. It's easy to set up and use and is convenient for camping or stopping at a rest stop to make a quick meal. It stores in its own carry case and I leave it in the van for impromptu picnics. It takes up very little space, I love this little cook top.
