The hardiest book. Ever. It has been dropped. Stepped on. Flung. Rained on. Lost. Found. Forgotten. It’s a good book. It’s not waterproof, just capable of a little misadventure then a little love. The cover is the same front/back and has elastic to help hold it closed. The binding is thick and tough and does a good job of allowing you to turn pages smoothly and flip the book around. There is a small section at the front dedicated to Contents and double-sided clear sleeve for storage in the back. The pages are more of a dull ivory than white, which is softer on the eyes. They feel about standard thickness. They are not numbered. They have a heading for the date at the top. Some of the thicker pens I’ve used have bleed through a little if I’ve lingered a little too long on the page, but I feel that’s pretty standard. Overall, I feel for writing, especially with ballpoint or gel pens, you can’t go wrong with this book. (Def not to say you can’t use others, just optimal performance) I clearly, would recommend this book.

I am a notebook snob and this is my favorite notebook by far! Sturdy cover, thick with 300 pages, smooth paper, and opens flat. The art on the cover is beautiful, as well. All this for less than $20. Five stars for sure and I plan on buying them for gifts for the notebook lovers in my life.

I use a notebook to track everything. Literally. Everything. I got a different one this last time and I missed having the spiral part. I got a thicker but smaller size one with a binding. And I ordered this one and it really impressed me. The cover is smooth vibrant color. The coils are durable feeling. I can open it up flat or flip around to have just the one page open. Nothing gets stuck while opening or flipping pages. The cover isn’t too thick that it feels hard to move. But sturdy enough that it’s going hold up for a while. The paper. Let’s be honest that’s why we get the notebooks we do. Fresh, can I describe paper that way?! I’ve been on a pen journey collecting all the ones I’m influenced by. And maybe it’s the bright colors? But I feel like the ones write better in this notebook than the last one. I’m looking for things to write so I can use it more. Great great size. Not too big. Not too small- literally perfect. It’s going to be a good year!

This is a lovely solid item. Good quality paper... good quality rings... good quality binding err covers not sure what to call it. The paper is quality and easy to write on and it flattens out perfectly on a table so you're not writing at a slant. If I make a mistake or I need to change my mind on something, I could tear the paper out easily and it doesn't make a difference in the rest of the book that's remaining... it's truly forgiving. It has a plastic pocket in the back can hold a few pages or memorabilia and then it has a rubber elastic to hold your page if you're journaling. Pure happy notebook. I use a pen that has a clip so I can slide it in the rings, otherwise there's no place really to hold a pen in case you want to take the book on the road with you.

Love this journal. Excellent paper thickness and the pages do not bleed thru. The lay flat style makes it easy to use. I like that it has a space to write page numbers and also a subject list in front to note where your important parts are written. This size is small enough to carry around but still do serious journaling or note taking. The cover design is very pleasant and I enjoy using it and displaying it on my desk.

Perfect size and thickness for work notes. Good quality paper. The cover came dented in a few places—minor flaws but my eye goes right to them so I decided to exchange for one that didn’t look used. The new one is perfect!

One of my favorite journals. Sturdy hardcover. The cover looks textured but it is smooth. The 300 lined pages are college ruled. The thick paper is easy to write on. I use purple ballpoint pens or gel pens to write in this with no bleed through. The spiral bound book folds over easily; which I often do when I’m writing in it. There is a sturdy plastic pocket in the back of the book for loose papers and stickers.
