A great life-saving tool!
I teach a lot of first aid and CPR classes and these have been a great addition! I love how we can reuse the bags and put new breathing barriers in so people can hook them to their keychains. Should they ever need to use them in the future?

Ineffective for delivering breaths
Do not buy these they have a hole on the side that makes it hard for the air to go into the Manikins’s and achieve chest rise.

Good Enough for Training
These CPR mask valves are suitable for training - like the title says. I would not use them in a real life application unless it was the only one I had on hand. I was a little shocked as to how much smaller they were than the ones I typically use. But the larger end worked just fine in the training masks I provide my students during class. The one way feature is good enough for students to understand how that works, but again these are for training purposes only. They are not perfect in that regard. They come individually wrapped, so my students know they are safe and sanitary to use. For the price, I think these are great to hand out for training applications.

Not compatible with infant masks and BVMs!
These valves work great with my adult pocket masks and BVMs, however they do NOT work with the infant masks and BVMs. There is a vent in the side that functions well with adult equipment, but when the valve is flipped over to use with infant masks, breaths bypass the mask and just vent out through the hole. Because of the price, I will continue to use these for HeartSaver and ACLS classes, but I will use something different for BLS and PALS classes.
