This is a really good book. Loads of good info and hints from authors who actually work in the field and can attest to their advice in practice. Not a lot of brain-cramping either--understandable and well constructed. Subjects flow and build on one another in a logical and coherent way. Covers the gauntlet from terms, to equipment, to technique, to studio. Advice on all aspects of the podcast realm. A little dated by now, software-wise, but that should hardly be an issue. I maintain this book in my ready stock of references.

For an Online Course, this was one of the suggested books.I am absolutely blessed to read this.1) It is very informative. Great for Audio PodCasting. There is some info on Video Podcasting also.2) The process, file formats, the evolution of the Podcasting is very helpful.3) Some do's and don'ts are included.4) Different encoders and file formats are very beautifully given. This is the Strength of this book.The only thing I wish should be addressed more: Video Podcasting needs to be updated and more material to be added.Overall, I will recommend this book to new Bloggers and PodCasters.Blessings,Paul C.

This book is helping me decide whether or not to attempt podcasting and videopodcasting. The copyright date (2007) is getting out of date given the rapid advancement in techonology these days.

This book is a fantastic resource that provides lots of inspiration for creating an engaging podcast. I only wish it were up to date with modern technology.

Helpful information; more than I could absorb as a beginner in podcasting. I appreciated the information on equipment as well as the techniques involved, and the use of RSS.

This is an excellent, very useful book. The only thing missing for me was an actual schematic showing how to connect everything up, but still loved this. Exactly what I needed to get up and running.
