I've been using the Dogtra 1900x for a couple of months. It’s a significant upgrade from my previous Dogtra model. The button placement is much easier to use and program. And I can carry fewer transmitters with the ability to add a 3rd dog. Compared to a previous PetSafe product, it has really allowed me to fine-tune my dog’s training with much lower stimulation levels, which wasn’t possible with PetSafe, where I was always at 100% power, so it might tingle him.Pros:Robust—This collar can handle stubborn dogs, making it reliable when my dog is full of drive or if an emergency might occur.Battery life—The battery lasts longer on both the remote and collar, so there are fewer recharging requirements. USB-C charging is a huge plus.Minor Cons:LED light—The LED only flashes instead of staying on constantly. This will help with battery life, but it would be more helpful for visibility during night use.Contact points—I highly recommend using the titanium points. They solved an issue I had with spots on my dog's neck. They’re a must if you’re concerned about skin sensitivity.

This is BY FAR the nicest E-Collar I have ever used. If you aren’t looking for location tracking, this collar blows Garmin (and easily SportDog) out of the water for a fraction of the cost. I know there are cheaper options out there, but they don’t last very long - trust me.. been there, done that. The Dogtra 1900X is extremely durable and has a very well thought out design. The battery life is great, and the vibration (page function) is very strong. This collar has given me so much peace of mind for off leash adventures. Highly recommend! I’m only buying Dogtra E-Collars from here on out - not that I will need a new one for a very, VERY long time.

It’s a must if you’re concerned about skin sensitivity.Weight: Both the remote and collar are a bit heavy, but it does give it a more premium feel.In summary, the Dogtra 1900x has been reliable so far and is a far better choice than my PetSafe e-collar.

Probably could have gotten one for a smaller dog. We have a smaller lab that is 48 lbs. right now and learns quickly. But was worried it wouldn’t fit her neck properly when full grown at about 55 lbs. The level of shock adjuster is a little too easy to turn. Other than that a good, sturdy product.
