Switches and knobs are heavy-duty and have a nice professional look. Excellent sound quality, too. Our speaker is mounted outside next to a busy street, and we find it's very sensitive to human voices without picking up too much background interference. It is worth every penny. This model is full duplex, so both people can speak at the same time. The speaker is very sturdy thick metal, but it can also be easily unplugged and replaced in case it is damaged. Two thumbs up.
