I am not an experienced seamstress, but I sew quite a bit. Little projects for my daughter here and there, dresses, shirts, shorts and pants. More recently, it’s been a lot of masks for almost everyone in my life. So, I can be pretty critical about what I need. I need something soft and stretchy that can retain its shape and wash well. This elastic fits the bill. It’s good for masks but not junk that I wouldn’t use on larger projects. It also comes in a pretty generous spool. I think they may have thrown in an extra half a yard? I haven’t measured, but that’s what it seems like from me just looking at it.

In this maddening pandemic I was lucky to have an old box of N95 masks for allergies, but the elastic bands broke after a few days. New masks also break as they were designed for single use. The electrostatic material in NIOSH N95 masks is good for about 40 hours of continuous use, and these are as scarce as hen's teeth, so I bought this (which includes moldable metal nose clamps to make your mask from scratch) and sewed new straps on all of our N95 masks, and this has worked well. This material seems well made, and has survived on N95 masks for weeks. This is a good product for this purpose.

I got this Elastic and I was hoping that it was going to be good for the Scrunchies that I was making. I opened it and it looked just like the picture. I would not call it soft, but not rough. I needed it to be stretchy because that was an important factor to Scrunchies. I pulled it and it was very stretchy. It did not scrunch up which was good. They also came very quickly which was very helpful so I could get started right away. I will definitely be using these for my Scrunchies. I will be buying this Elastic for Scrunchies in the future, too. Overall, this is a 5 star product.

I ordered this roll of elastic because I am making a bunch of face masks for my family. This elastic is not as tight and comfortable for the ear loop especially if you are going to wear the face mask for a long period of time. This elastic will not work well for other types of sewing projects that may need it to hold the clothing up as the elastic stretches easily but perfect for my use for face mask making. I also received a few nose grips with this elastic which was a bonus.

I was looking for quality elastic for masks at a reasonable price. This elastic exceeded my expectations. The elastic quality is great! Nice stretch and feels good! As an added surprise it came with about 20 aluminum, self adhesive nose strips. I highly recommend this product.

I was very happy with how fast this elastic came, and that it was clean white and retains its stretch. I am using it for masks, so I go through it quickly. I recommend it!

I'm new to making masks, and there is no elastic to find in our area in Florida. I ordered it on Wed. and received it on Fri. No shipping fee. as I have PRIME. It's good to go, looks and feels sturdy to me. I have no problem with it.

This product does not match the description or the add. It is in fact 100meters not yards. I may have gotten more length but it keeps getting tangled up due to not coming on a spool. It is a lot thinner and not a weave elastic flat elastic. It is still stretchy and usable just like to get what I order.

I use this for flying flags on my flag pole. It is very strong and looks good too.

I wanted some flannels to use for my face as I’m just starting a new skin care regime and wanted soft flannels I could incorporate into that, honestly was not dissappointed! Fast delivery, reasonable price and quality product! Would highly reccommend! Especially as I have sensitive skin and these are super soft!
