Amazing! I bought this when my Nutribullet died and it's definitely a step (or two) up! The blade design is SO much better - there are no crevices around the blade for food to get stuck when making my morning smoothies! Really happy with this product! :)

Review of the Splendor Blender from Our Place:I really love this cool little blender! The Splendor Blender is powerful, easy to use and clean. It looks great and does not take up space in my small kitchen. I can leave it out on my counter which makes it really convenient. I use it daily in the morning to whip up my protein smoothies. It is great to not have to haul out my Vitamix from the pantry. I am planning to use it to make my jerk chicken marinade. Normally I would be using my food processor to make this. So now this eliminates another appliance I would be taking out to use. So far I am truly enjoying this appliance and highly recommend it.

As someone who cooks a lot and has tested many brands, I really wanted to love this blender, especially because I’m a fan of Our Place’s product design. But this one is a major letdown.It’s incredibly loud—not just the usual appliance noise, but loud enough to be heard throughout the entire house. And unfortunately, that’s not even the worst part.The blending cup sinks too far into the base, and on my very first use, after making a smoothie, I tried to remove it—and the entire thing spilled all over the counter. I still don’t understand how something meant for daily use could be designed so poorly.I strongly urge the brand to revisit and rethink the overall construction of this blender. As it stands, it’s just not functional.

This blender shape and size, and the container and accompanying lid, are all very well-designed. There are very few nooks and crannies where food is hard to clean out. The stainless steel blades are sharp and well-made. The blender is solid. It’s heavy but not overly heavy. It doesn’t move around on the counter when it’s blending. The container and lid work great. For making smoothies, the blender works okay. All the parts are fast and easy to clean. It comes apart and is easy to store. It’s much smaller than my other blender. I really like the lightweight Lexan-type container. The lid that’s included screws into the top of the container. It has a handle and a drinking spout. That makes it super convenient to make and take a smoothie when one is on the go.The only downside I’ve found is the blend power. Don’t expect it to work like a heavy-duty blender. It just isn’t that powerful. The gears are made of a heavy-duty hard plastic, not metal. There’s a learning curve to getting it to work well. Smoothies need quite a bit of liquid (not surprisingly, more than a Vitamix). The first time I used it, I started to get overheating motor smell. I had added a cup of milk and two handfuls of greens, then 1/2 a banana, then some frozen fruit. I started to get a thick frozen fruit slushie. I quickly added some water and it thinned right down.While I very much like the container and lid that come with this blender, the relative small footprint and ease of storing the blender, and the ease of cleaning it, I unfortunately don’t think that it’s a good value. I think it’s too expensive for this level of blending power and ability, at least when it comes to making smoothies. It might work better for blending non-frozen, thin, and liquid foods - dressings, sauces, pureeing cooked vegetables, etc. Unfortunately I ordered it for making smoothies.

From the moment you open and unpack this mixer, you will be impressed. The presentation from the enveloped instructions is fantastic. This only supports the mixer itself. GREAT at blending with ice and not a single issue when making protein shakes with powdered 'whey' protein. The ONLY problem, no way to completely turn off the machine unless it is unplugged from the outlet or you purchase (as I did) an on/off plug in the outlet switch. (This issue has also been seen in their other products.)

This is a very powerful little blender

I find the pulse mode especially handy for making chunky salsa, as it gives just the right consistency without over-blending. The toxin-free materials are reassuring, especially since I use it daily. Plus, the self-cleaning function has been a game-changer—just a bit of soap and water, and it’s ready for the next use. The sturdy base keeps it steady even with tougher ingredients. Highly recommended for both power and convenience!

Absolute scam of a company. Buyer beware! They spend all their money on marketing - aesthetic appeal, instruction materials, boxing etc but the quality suffers as a result. This blender is overpriced and does not blend well, leaving chunks while also over liquifying other parts. We purchased their pan and wonder oven and had similar experiences with those. I’ve never felt the need to write a review before but I feel sorry for anyone trying to use this in any practical way beyond making their counter space look “cute.”
