Great stories for 8-year-olds. Finally, something convinced my son to read. Highly recommended.

Brilliant item! Both my kids dived on these books as soon as they arrived and sat reading them for hours. They are great for challenging younger readers who can read Series 1. The story is engaging and having the set so the children can follow the overall story has been brilliant. Highly recommend

Nice books

My 5-year-old loves these books - they made her keen to read in a way no other books have and she was very sad to end the pack. The words are a little hard for her at 5 - lots of guessing! - but that has kept her stretching herself without realising. What’s magical about these books for us is that these are the first books she’s wanted to read independently. She loves the short chapters, pictures and cliff hangers - perfect for a child whose reading is a little ahead of her attention span!

my son read series 1 and is halfway through series 2 (was 6 when he started and is now 7). He loves these books as do I! we read them together and he is so fascinated by the story lines that he doesn't even realise that he's moving through the reading levels as the series goes on. The books are very clever as all 25 are one linked story line so when he gets to the end of a book, he's left excited to read the next to find out how the story develops / ends addictive just like a tv box set! Couldn't recommend more highly.

I bought it for my son(6y) he loves them! He already read the first series and he can't wait to read this one. 24 fantastic books which make a great impression, story after the story -all matched. In addition, the Fact File-full of activities/facts/fun stories attached looks interesting too. Perfect choice with this order!
