The wireless CarPlay and Android Auto integration makes it so easy to connect my phone, and I love that I can control everything hands-free through Siri or Google Assistant. Works on a 2008 Jeep!You do not need a wiring harness, but it’s nice to have a wiring harness - which is sold separately.I purchased a separate kit for my Jeep and it came with everything I needed for only 26 dollars.Antenna adapterWiring harness,Face plateSplicesI did have to get creative with the mount for it since the big screen made it impossible to mount the screen to the cage and the cage to the car. But the separate kit I bought made it possible.Once it connects to my phone, the sound is great.Screen looks great.Touch screen is nice, not as responsive as a Tesla, more like an ATM.Screen boots up quickly, and shuts off quickly. Great value for the money.

The radio was easy to install and loads very quickly, the video resolution is great, the sound quality is good as well. I had a issue that required a firmware update and the customer service is outstanding to fix the issues that I was encountering. Other than the firmware update the radio has been great!

Installed this in my 2008 Mercury Mountaineer (like a Ford Explorer) to replace my aging sync 1. The factory maps were out of date and the screen was getting dim. So I removed the original radio (I used you tube for instructions on the removal)...I had to order a Metra Dash kit & Wiring harness adapter. I soldered all the connections and then heat shrink wrapped them. This made it basically plug and play - no cutting or splicing the factory harnesses. I also ordered a steering wheel control kit for it as well so I could retain the factory settings. Pairing the radio with my iPhone was very easy as well. I can stream current google maps or whatever app you use for navigation directly on the radio screen. I can also stream music from Pandora, Sirius XM or whatever music app you like to use. The 10" screen is nice and bright and very responsive. The only thing I had noticed is that when I first turn the radio on it makes a crackling/thumping noise through the amplifier. Not sure why it does that? This radio was an affordable upgrade for my vehicle...Pretty happy with it so far.Quick update: it quit connecting to my iPhone both wirelessly and wired. I’m returning it for a replacement. I will keep the wiring harness so I don’t have to solder everything again. I hope it was just a faulty radio unit.

This is one of the best radios i have had in a while.The screen is clear and bright, even in bright sun i have no problems seeing the screen. Carplay works fantastic and i love the wireless feature for carplay. I run a amp the connection are clear and wires are labeled well so it was a easy hookup. i can't say enough about this unit. i contacted customer service about a question on firmware updates I always like to make sure I'm up-to-date on the latest things ''OCD''😀. They reached out very quick and they have very friendly staff.

Great head unit! I bought this for several reasons: 1) Wireless carplay 2) easy install 3) no buttons 4) value. Meet all my requirements and looks great! The screen is huge and crystal clear (very happy with the outside fit). Only neutral points are the speaker power seems lower (need to keep volume in the 30+ range, vs mid-teens on factory unit), and works a little slow in colder weather (upper 20sF).

The deck looks great, but unable to screen mirror and microphone sound quality to other callers is poor. Great value for the money but it sticks out of the dash and would be very easy to steal. functionality-wise, it's very responsive with only a slight bit of lag between pressing buttons and the function occurring. my biggest issue is the volume disparity between radio and carplay as well as intermittent Bluetooth connectivity. the unit will randomly drop Bluetooth, then reconnect or sometimes fail to connect. Additionally, sometimes the rear camera will say no source and the vehicle has to be placed in park, then reverse again to get the camera to work.
