Great color! Can't really taste anything, which is good. Good price - will buy again and have bought other colors of this band and am quite satisfied as my go-to.

We really wanted these to add school colors to my daughter’s graduation cupcakes! This was the perfect color and was still affordable. The flavor is great too!

It is not easy to find black sanding sugar so I am very pleased with how beautifully the cookies I coated with this sugar turned out.

I bought CK's crystal sugar, sanding sugar and jimmies to try to decorate a cake. This crystal sugar was a little too large to use with a cake-decorating stencil; it was too big to fill in the lettering properly, while the sanding sugar worked perfectly. However, if you are using the crystal sugar to add color by simply sprinkling on, this will decorate cakes and cookies nicely. The color was a true black and it tasted ok -- there was no strange flavor because of the coloring -- but it turned my fingers black when I used it, so I deducted 1 star. For comparison, I have included a picture of these crystals (in black, at the top), along with the sanding sugar (purple, in the middle), and jimmies (in purple, at the bottom). I struggled about what size to purchase for my project, and as it turns out, these weren't the right size. However, hopefully this will help you better decide if this size is appropriate for your needs.

These sprinkles were great for my son's John Deere birthday. I ordered the green and yellow and sprinkled half of the white cupcakes yellow and the other half green. They were a hit and the sprinkles added a nice texture and sweetness. We had a ton left over so we're still making John Deere sundaes. :)

Just what I needed for a cake. Shipping was quick. Realized my local fabric store had the item later on a little cheaper, but the convenience was worth it.

Looks awesome! Like a black/blue/purple mystic look. Going to use them to sugar the rim on some drinks at a Halloween theme cocktail night :)
