Great flashlight, good sales, bundle, edc.
I originally purchased the tac aa from acebeam and then this was the next step. While I generally love the compact "tactical" style edc that fits right in your hand with the tac aa, the tac 2aa was a massive improvement. Some complain about the ui being too much to think about, and while these kind of products are typically advertised in the theme of being tactical, I think it goes without saying for the more commonly sensed etc tool community that a real tactical light would be optimized for simplicity and durability, hence reliability.Yet what this flashlight is and does is just fine and even fun for the more fidget happy, or anyone willing to practice with what they use, maybe that bit of mental exercise can be a plus. It's more of a flooder than a thrower, which, at uts brightness levels is just right for anything from searching a drawer at night in moonlight mode to lighting up a path just around you on high, while still having enough power to stun an oncoming threat should you need at turbo and strobe, although that last part should be delegated to more dedicated "tactical" throwers. The flashlight has two ui modes, one with the more well rounded full use, the other being the "tactical" one where the tail switch defaults to turbo first.I love the button led power/idle indicator.I only wish the knurling would cover a greater majority of the tube, but it has just enough to cigar hold or pinch it, and overall it's still a really textured flashlight with all of the grooves.Acebeam has sales here on Amazon quite frequently, so my recommendation would be to grab yourself a tac aa and a tac 2aa bundle if you should see them both on sale, these two flashlights will give the average person everything they need.

Acebeam TAC 2AA 5-Month Review
This was my first tactical flashlight purchase, and I couldn’t be happier. The brightness is incredible and the user interface is easy once you get the hang of it. With light everyday use, I can easily go weeks without charging it. I carry this around with me every day and the size is perfect for that. I’ve dropped it a few times already, but this flashlight is still kicking and is definitely well-made.Some cons, but not deal breakers:1. I wish there was an intermediate battery indicator light mode when the flashlight is above a 30% charge. It would help me know more accurately what the battery charge is at, but for the price point I can’t complain. I don’t need to charge it frequently as it is.2. In my opinion, the flashlight is too heavy to be used on the visor of a ball cap. When I tried it out on a white ball cap, it left a black residue that was hard to remove. So if you do try this out, watch out for that.3. Not a con, but the QR code on the side of the flashlight doesn’t lead to anything (this was after many attempts to get my phone to even recognize the QR code).Overall, this flashlight is an exceptionally good value and I definitely recommend it.

This is a flashlight! ... Yes, Also a TAC Light!
It works far more effectively and efficiently than most. FACTs: Its monetary value, brightness, charging capability, battery life, compact size, versatility and its rugged durablity ... collectively, makes this ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC a must have. WHY? It works extremely well. Here are a few reasons why I love this ACEBEAM 1400 High Lumens Flashlight.1. Once you've selected your desired light setting. The flashlight stays / remains on that setting each time you power it ON and OFF ... even while it's in Standby Mode.2. The adjustment capabilities of this TAC light seemlessly converts from a top quality flashlight into a Super Torch light when you rapidly double click the light sequence button. This function is acheived when the flashlight is in Standby. Tripple clicks engages the Torch light to flash. QUESTION: Did someone say ... Bright, or ... BRIGHTER? ALSO NOTE: When the Torch light is on ... The tip of the TAC light gets HOT! real fast! However, It equally cools rapidly when you disengage the function.3. With the Amber and the Clear/off White silicone caps that comes in the package ... ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC transforms into an emergency becon for the unexpected stranded in the dark, on a lonesome roadway, waiting for a tow truck, given the dreaded car failure ... or while you're out hiking the trails. You go off track and somehow, you end up getting lost in the woods. Knowing this, you need to track back, but its late night and it's dark. Here's another true to life experience ... Your vessel has lost power on the open seas, thus leaving you isolated in the pitch black, far away from other mariners. However, your rescuers are diligently searching for you, hoping to see a glimmer of light. In these extremes, having an ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC flashlight definitely helps in displaying your location ... as well as, illuminating your path home.ADDED FACTs: ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC is lite in weight, easy to use ... and constructed to endure the unintended knock arounds and the abusive drops ... due to, its rugged Aluminum frame.THE LOOK, THE FUNCTION and THE FEEL:The design is streamlined impressive, having the Power button center placed at the bottom of the cylindrical frame. This design functionality also, allows you to securely stand the flashlight upright, hands free, as you power through various tasks when using the Amber or the off White silicone caps to spread the illumination throughout your desired area. Likewise, the placement of the Light Sequence Mode / Standby button compliments the impressive ergonomics of the grippy frame. In additon to, the adjustable pocket clip which also clips to your baseball cap, when it's needed, makes EDCing this TAC light, paper weight ... Furthermore, this Matt blue TAC light is my standout favorite. Which concludes for me ...My DISLIKEs: Unfortunately ... "I have NONE."

Was sold a used, return item with missing battery
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked it because of the features ( low settings, for longevity), mainly .But I love the product and all its features, I most likely get another one before my back packing trip. Why the two stars?? It’s for the fact that I was sold a return product, tell tale signs are missing battery, first and foremost, the lanyard too is missing , but I can live without the lanyard. Over all I love the product

The dark will be scared of YOU!
OMG! This thing puts out an INSANE amount of light! It's brighter than the headlights on my car. This flashlight is bright enough to spot incoming enemy aircraft. If you point it at a vampire, they will instantly turn to dust. And no joke... you can actually feel the heat from the beam, like you're standing in direct sunlight. I don't know how they managed to pack THIS much light into such a small package, but it is seriously impressive.
