Excellent fun in the Toy Story universe
Having read all of the positive reviews of the Toy Story 3 game I decided to take the plunge and purchase it for my kids. Right away they loved it. The game has outstanding graphics and I was really surprised and the massive amount of things you can do. I feel like we have barely gotten into it. There is a story mode where you play as one of the main characters (Woody, Buzz, or Jessie) and through a series of levels you have to complete various objectives. For example, as Buzz you might have to infiltrate Zerg's evil fortress, or as Woody you have to save orphans from Dr. Pork Chop. I mean EVIL Dr. Pork Chop. Then there is the vaunted Toy Box mode. This is essentially a sanbox game where you can complete missions for townsfolks, purchase upgrades to your town in the form of buildings or paint or many other things, or just ride around looking for things. It is a blast. Both modes have drop-in/out multi-player and the split screen works well. The graphics and sounds are top knotch as you'll be treated to the music from the movies and although the voice work is not by the original actors, it is very good. The only negative I've found is that if your kids can't read very well they will struggle to complete missions because once you accept a mission and ride off to complete it, you may need to go back and read the objectives to remind youself what you were supposed to do. If a child can't read very well he may need some help with this. All in all my kids enjoy the game a lot!

Fun for all ages!!
I originally bought this for my 5yr old son (almost 6) who just loves Toy Story, and the fact that we recently returned from a trip to Walt Disney World where he got to take pictures with Buzz Lightyear made it a must get for him, and the fact that it was "family game". In a world where there's more FPS games it's quite refreshing to get a family game where you don't have to worry about taking cover. :-)My original fear was that it would have been a little too easy or too challenging for him but it turned out to be just right. The story is interesting enough to hold his attention and since the levels are replayable he can have hours of fun. He especially loves Woodys Roundup where he can be the sherriff of the town and build the town any which way he wants and run around doing little missions for his townspeople. He also loves the that he can customize the buildings and being able to dress the "citizens" of his town. It's a game I know that he's not going to get tired of too easily since Woodys Roundup is hours of fun.The game is simple enough for a 5yr old in the fact that if you're stuck you can press RB and either get a hint or show what exactly needs to be done so he's in no danger of being "stuck" which frustrates anyone and makes them hate the game.I'd definitely recommend them to all who have kids and even those who don't. You won't regret this "family game".

Great for my 5 year old!
We have been having a hard time finding a game our 5 year old triplets can play without an adult constantly having to help them. So far, this is the best game we have found. They LOVE it. One of the three is very bad at video games and even he is able to have fun playing.Positives:Two people can playGreat graphicsYou can replay levels over and over.Fun and engaging levels, gets the kids really excited.Negatives:There are a few hard places that require adult help. The game is not very extensive, an adult would beat it in a few hours.LIke I said earlier, this game is not great for adults, but it is for a young gamer. Other games we have tried Lego Starwars, Lego Avengers, and Skylanders Swapwhatever. This is the easier of all of these games, next easiest would be the Skylanders. We tried the Cars video game but the kids found it too difficult.

Good game. But it is mark as "NOT FOR RESALE" from manufacturer. Very misleading WHOLESALE OUTLET seller.
The page is quite fun to play. It is very entertaining. But I got disappointed when I was looking at the package and I notice the seller, obviously, put a barcode label under something that was printed on the actual package. And I can see it reads under it "NOT FOR RESALE". So that is disappointing. That is the reason why I am giving this a 3 stars, more than the game too the seller WHOLESALE OUTLET, who I will write a review also.

Hours and Hours and Hours of Play for Your Money!
I only played a little bit of the main game where Woody is trying to rescue the orphans on the runaway train. I switched to the Toy Box mode and STILL haven't run out of missions and things to do - I think it goes on forever! Parents, this game is worth every penny and then some for the hours and hours of play it provides.I'm an adult and I was having a blast! My mom and I were playing the Toy Box mode, cracking up at the hilarious villains that "sneak" around the western town you create. They look like villains from old westerns complete with handlebar moustache, hat, and an evil laugh that's hilarious! You can grab them by their belt and throw them in jail. There are also aliens walking around town (the cute green ones) and TONS of missions to do since you're the sheriff. My only warning: this game (at least the Toy Box mode) is SUPER addictive! So much fun! Definitely worth buying - you'll enjoy it right along with your kids.

This Game Is Great For The Whole Family!!!
Everyone from my 47 year old husband to my 6 year old LOVES this game! Even I love it and I'm not a gamer but since the controller functions are straight forward (no RT, X, X, X, left toggle, Y, Y just to leap from one ledge to another), I'm able to play with the kids. The only downfall to this game is that it is only 1-2 player (I have 3 kids). But, on a huge plus-side...there is a lot to the game story...I mean a lot! They won't get bored. I'm still trying to figure out out how they fit so much info on one disc. And if you're trying to lean away from all the shooter games like I was, they still get an opportunity to test their aim (only they're throwing rubber balls). And if you get stuck at some point in the game (we did on Zerg's machine), there is plenty of info on the web to help you figure it out.
