Aobelieve Weatherproof Cover for Arlo Pro and Pro 2 Camera, Black

I have both the black and white versions of this, and I love them! I wish I had found these before ordering so many of the rubberized kind. These completely shield the cameras from rain/snow. They don't block anything necessary like the sound. They don't hinder the night vision like the rubberized hood-kind does. Plus, these are "cute" enough not to stand out. Instead of using a mount, I have some if these just "sitting" in places, and 2 of them I put on poles along my fence...bought those metal utility u-poles, painted them, then ran a short bolt through the pole into the hole/threading where the mount screw would go. (Hope that makes sense)

These little bird houses are awesome! Now I know why Arlo’s logo is a bird. A great disguise for a camera. The mount screws into the bird house not the camera, and top of the bird house slides off providing easy access to change the battery without taking the mount apart. I bought two a while back, and I am buying two more.

I have several of these for my Arlo cameras, they are fantastic, nice looking and provide good extra protection. They are small (the same size as the camera) It seems some people think they are getting a big birdhouse, it's not a birdhouse.

Cons:1. No hook on top for hanging on hooks, etc.2. Doesn't come with any mounting hardware/hooks/etc for the screw in back.2. Birdhouse is little on the small side (may not fool some people into thinking it's an actual bird house).Other than those, it's exactly what you'd expect. Not bad for the first version of a product, but see room for improvement. Hopefully in a few months they'll make one that fixes the above cons.I can't vouch for the waterproofing of it, since I haven't used it outside yet, but will edit this if I experience any problems.

I love that the camera's body is completely covered in this housing because even though the Arlo Pro is already weatherproof, I still like having that extra layer of protection outdoors since the camera is not installed in a covered area so now it has its own shade while still having the ability to tilt. It also comes with the necessary mount which other more affordable housings/skins do not.

The photos of the camera in the bird house they use for this listing are deceptive. I was expecting things to look like they do in the photos, with everything appearing black, including the white front of the camera. It turns out that this does not cover that part, so you have a white border appearing all around the front. These folks get 1 star for dishonest and deceptive advertising.

I could not access the plug to recharge while the camera was in the house. And then i could not get the top to snap back on. Had to out a child's hair band around it to hold the top on.

Fits well around arlo pro 2. Fairly tough, after I dropped mine twice from about 6 foot high. Makes the camera look more decorative then just an egg shaped camera.
