Positively Teenage: A positively brilliant guide to teenage well-being

I bought this book for my 11 year old daughter. A few months after starting secondary school, her behaviour & attitude began to change horribly & things at home became a constant battle with her. I give her lots of 1 on 1 time, she’s very active, I just couldn’t get why she was pretty much turning her family into enemies.I tried talking to her, but she seemed to have developed this ‘stuff you’ switch with would flick on at the first sign of me instigating a chat.So I ended up buying this book & honestly it’s working wonders. She has really taken to it. She reads for 20 minutes each day, but usually reluctantly. Since having this book, she’s been setting her 20 min timer of her own accord & cracking on with reading. The content is so relatable, I can literally see that she feels lighter afterwards. It’s well written & full of info, but engaging with the way it’s set out, kind of in bite size chunks.It has the odd quiz, offers tips & advice on all things relevant to this age group.I asked my daughter if she would recommend it to other people her age. She said definitely yes but only more confident readers as it does have quite a few big/unfamiliar words which she pieces together the meaning of. Not really an issue as she’s very bright, but for this reason, wouldn’t really suit all 11 year olds.

Just what I wanted as an extra present for my granddaughter's 13th birthday. Lots of useful information.

This is for my grandson, who has not yet been given it, so it's a bit difficult to review it. However, on glancing through it seems just the job

My niece loved this book. She said it was very relatable and is relevant to younger adults. I would highly recommend this for teenagers and it helps parents etc to understand what their teenagers are going through because we all think differently but this book relates beautifully to teenagers nowadays.

I like the way this book is written. The language is appropriate for my son, and we both like the suggestions, tasks and guidance it provides.Have recommended to some of my friends.

I gifted this book to my sister who is 12 years old and she loved it. Within 7 days she completed her first book on slef helath and now is very committed into reading. Thank you soo much Nicola Morgan for this amazing piece of transformation

Es un libro escrito para adolescentes. Yo pensé que era de adolescentes para terapeutas pero no, está dirigido directamente para ellos, sin embargo es muy actual, bien escrito y lleno de cosas prácticas para hacer en el tema de manejo de emociones. Muy recomendado. Lo único es que es más pequeño de lo que pensaba y es de hojas estilo papel periódico, no blancas, pero tampoco es algo grave.

Teenager should go through this book. It is absolutely wonderful book.Positively Teenage gives you tools to approach your teenage years with optimism and understanding and to develop real wellbeing for life.Highly recommended!
