This is not one of those crappy ones that's cut out of a bigger piece.This has a border and it's own cover.It also has 7 zones ...one Pic you will see unedited, the other has been darkened do you can see how the hole sizes changes the support.Most support is designed to be in the lumbar area as the holes are much smaller.It's solid & heavy yet feels like a cloud to lay on.I'm a side sleeper and first I got the 3 inch which felt wonderful except when sleeping on my side I lost a little lumbar support but my shoulders felt good.I weigh about 170lbs 6 feet tall.I sent the 3 inch back & got the 2 inch...seems to be the perfect blend of cush with better lumbar support.My new Beauty Rest Black Series Three 15.25" Twin XL Prime underneath is quite firm...too firm for my shoulders. The 2 inch topper fixed it.I was able to get it underneath my mattress protector too..the 3 inch was too thick.I did a lot of study about which type was best for me as a side sleeper (gel vs memory foam, airy fake latex vs real latex).This is the real McCoy..No smell at all ....it's a tad spendy but it does seem you get what you pay for.Caution! If you send it back they prefer it in the box it came ...it's not fun getting it back in! Save the box & the plastic encasement it comes in & use a vaccum to shrink it & you have a chance. The 3 inch came in the same sized box the 2 inch came in.Their service Dept will communicate via email if needed.

We used this as a layer in our do it yourself mattress build. I was amazed at the difference it made compared to our former firm base. Superior comfort and function!! The bounce back takes a bit of getting used to LOL but it's great.

The product arrived at my street address instead of my PO Box address last minute - without me getting prior notice that it was to large to be delivered to post office. Not sure why the seller did not notify me and let me know what was happening. The quality of the latex topper itself is good, covering nice with a zipper to take off and wash. There was no smell after about 5 minutes of coming out of the packaging. I am using it as extra padding for a new mattress which is pretty firm. After sleeping on it last night it helped just enough - perhaps someone who needs a little more cushioning should get the 3" topper version.

It does keep you cooler/neutral. It needs to be a little denser. When you are on it, it goes pretty flat. It does help some but my hip needs a little more support that this offers. Be aware, the cover has a coating of fire retardant. We asked them to send one without the toxic chemicals. (Personal choice)

The packaging was big and heavy and required 2 persons to move. The pad is soft and very comfortable. The latex had a bit of smell, but not too bad. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

Bought a Beautyrest mattress in late 2021 that now is uncomfortable and has dips. Beautyrest would reject the 10 year warranty due to a single stain on mattress (based on their policy), so I didn't even bother. So, I pondered if I should order a new one and which one. In the process I found out latex toppers may save the day. Talatex medium firm mattress in queen size was received within a week and a half and installed on top of existing Beautyrest mattress. Since then, no pain in hips, no sweating at night, no neck problems. My daughter tested it one night with me, and since then wants to sleep on my bed and not hers, so this is really reviewed by two people. Excellent product!! Has a bounce but you don't sink in it (two mattresses ago, I had a 13" high end high density visco elastic memory foam mattress where sinking into it happened). When I can afford, I will buy a 4" latex topper firm and install that under the existing 2" Talatex medium firm over a slatted base. I'll do away completely w/ the mattress I'm using now.

Great bed topper at a good price. It has a nice cover and made the bed so much more comfotable
