After adding some lime leaves, I made a really delicious green curry. It was served with rice and vegetables, and paired with smoked beef tenderloin. The taste was excellent, the curry had a moderate level of spiciness, and it was even better when I added some red chili flakes!

You can't go wrong with Mae Ploy curry paste. I buy this size and then use a small cookie scoop and freeze it and then put them in a bag. So when you need a little bit or a couple tablespoons you just pull the scoop out of a zippy bag and throw it in your pan. Much more economical than buying the little tiny jars in the store. Great product have been using for years. Both the red and the green.

I’ve been trying to recreate the Thai green curry flavor I love, and this paste has gotten me the closest. I’ve tried other green curry pastes before, although not other ones from Amazon, and this has been my favorite for getting that more authentic taste. I add the paste to the pot at the beginning before adding the liquids. For my basic curry, I use it with coconut milk, Thai basil, a fish-based umami seasoning and a little chili oil, then add whatever vegetables I’m in the mood for. Together, it makes a really flavorful base that tastes much closer to the Thai green curry I’ve been trying to recreate at home. It has a great level of spice, but I would start with less if you’re sensitive to heat and add more as you go. I’ll definitely keep using this for my homemade green curry.

I have used a store bought Green curry for years. I was shocked how the flavor of this Green curry was so rich that our standard Thai dish tasted completely different. It is so full bodied that it brought out the flavor of all the other ingredients but at no point over powered anything else. Perfect heat level for my family, just enough kick to let you know there is magic in the dish. Then why only 4 stars? This curry comes in a plastic bin and packaged in just a bubble wrapped bag. The delivery person just threw it on our porch, as seen on our ring camera, and the plastic bin was split open, I assume from being thrown. Lucky the curry is in a sealed plastic bag inside. The bin was to be used after it was opened. If you like Green curry buy this, you will not be disappointed unless the delivery person is really a baseball player.

If you love green curry this is the one you need to make delicious green curry at home!! The flavor is spot on with this paste and coconut milk combined…then add any variety of vegetables, green beans, zucchini, carrots, snow peas, colorful bell pepper strips and some chicken, shrimp, tofu if you like and serve with rice for a perfect healthy easy dinner! We’ve tried several brands and this is the best!

Add slowly as tge directions suggest more spice than you may be used to. I added Chile crisp at tge end to balance the spice until I learned how much to use. Yum!

I used to be able to get Mae Ploy products at my local HEB but they stopped carrying them for something far inferior. The curry pastes Mae Ploy produces are extremely flavorful. We have had the red, green and yellow, and all are delicious. These really take the mystery out of making a decent curry at home. I normally get 4 batches of curry from one small tub, and we like it spicy. You may get 6 or 7 batches depending on size and flavor preferences.

This is a solid 10. I could not imagine making Thai curry with any other brand. I seal a meal the extra and freeze for another great meal. I love this brand and the green is my favorite.
