PiJuice – Short Case

The case is oddly put together. Assembly with the Pi and hat in place is akward and is basically “force it till it clicks”.

This case had potential, yet there is NO access to the 3 PiJuice buttons. The pictures for the product are not what I received. The 3 buttons on the PiJuice are blocked. There is no slot like shown in the picture, instead there are 5 tiny holes which do not line up with anything. I'm thinking I received a manufacturer defect. Also, the rubber feet are all but impossible to install, so I left them off. Without access to the buttons, this case is not usable.

There are expensive cases and cheap cases. This one is pretty expensive but feels very cheap: assembling it feels like you're very close to breaking, the cutouts are enormous and imprecise, the assembled box moves about and is close to falling apart and the buttons aren't reachable. Bottom line: check if you can't have something 3d printed -- it can hardly be worse.

Le boitier est vraiment médiocre. Les encoches à l'intérieur permettant de "fixer" la carte ne sont pas aux même niveau, la carte est alors légèrement en biais. C'est un boitier prévu pour le PiJuice, cependant les boutons de la carte sont difficilement accessible via ce boitier. On est obligé d'utiliser une mine de crayon...

Le boîtier est joli mais il y a pas mal de jeu entre le couvercle et le boîtier donc il n'est jamais vraiment fixe. Un peu déçu.
