Before y’all come for me 😅, braiding gel is thee only gel that will hold my hair down in a sleek ponytail. I’ve tried edge control, eco styling gel, gorilla snot, Let’s Jam, Shine n’ Jam, you name it. None of them worked for long periods of time. This brand of gel works wonders on my 4b/c hair! Doesn’t flake (MY hair) and it has a faint citrusy scent. I usually buy the BTL brand, but lately that price has been skyrocketing! Loc n’ Sleek is a great alternative for cheap! Here’s me before and after a busy 8 hour workday. It was extremely windy this day, but as you can see, I had very little fly-aways. My sleek look lasts a couple days without retouching! This gel has my vote! 🥰

I purchased this extreme hold gel for my locs. I am very pleased with this product. I have type 4C hair. I have purchased other holding gel products in the past. I was not pleased with the others. This is the best product I found that holds my locs in place. I will definitely by purchasing this product again.

The product isn’t sticky and it’s easy to use. I lovvvee the hold. The only thing is that it leaves a white residue. Overall, I think it’s a great product and you should buy it.
