Perfect First Food for Baby!
I started giving my baby Gerber Rice Cereal at around 4 months, and it's been a total game-changer! It's gentle on her tummy, super easy to mix with breast milk or formula, and she took to it right away. No weird smell or clumping—just a smooth, creamy texture that she absolutely loves.I also really appreciate that it's fortified with iron and other essential nutrients, which gives me peace of mind knowing she’s getting what she needs during this important stage. The container is resealable and keeps the cereal fresh, which is another plus for busy parents.Highly recommend this as a first solid food—it’s a trusted brand, great quality, and baby-approved!

Just what we needed
I was hoping to stock up on baby cereal, I'd be terrified to run out, especially with a hungry baby! Our son is 7 months old and has been eating this since he was about 4 months. It's recommended for babies who can push up on their arms while on their belly, or can lean on their arms when in a sitting position. They don't have to be crawling or sitting up, they can handle this much sooner. I would recommend getting multiple cereals, like rice, oatmeal, multigrain, etc. Just to acclimate your baby to trying new foods and liking everything. Plus, what if they're allergic to one of them? (Although, studies show that babies who try more foods as soon as they can eat them or eat the baby food version tend to have less allergies and food issues). Obviously our little guy still nurses, but he doesn't need as much during the day since we have baby food, plus he needs the extra calories!I don't know why it has me rating "flavor" and "thickness" because it doesn't really have much flavor at all and the thickness depends on how much formula or water or breastmilk you add. (We just add water and he likes it just fine). I tend to keep it pretty runny, just because it's easier for him to eat and he won't eat it if it's too thick. And for flavor and more nutrients, I mix in baby food (if you mix it in a little at a time, you'll go through less baby food, which saves money! The cereal helps keep their bellies full longer too, so they won't be as hungry as often! Yay!). For some extra fat, we mixed in mashed avocados with this and he loved it!Value for money? DEFINITELY! To get the same amount at my local grocery store (which is actually very well priced and is cheaper than other stores around me), I would spend about $35! So definitely worth the cash!I will definitely be buying again! Highly recommend.

Gentle Start with a Few Trade-Offs
This Gerber 1st Foods baby cereal has helped ease my baby’s reflux, making feedings much smoother. It mixes easily and has a mild texture that’s great for introducing solids. I’ve noticed it can cause a bit of gas, so we use it in moderation. The biggest downside is how hard it is to find in stores—I’ve had to order online more than once. Still, it’s been a helpful addition to our feeding routine.
