Great Yaoi, Long-Awaited English Release
Katekyo (private tutor) is one of my favorite yaoi manga. I've read it before it was released in English and purchasing it was my way of "supporting the artist." So, my review is a mix between reviewing the actual book and reviewing the English release. Katekyo is kind of your 'run of the mill' yaoi in that it doesn't have a particularly deep "plot." It's mostly very good-looking guys getting it on (I think there's sex in 4 out of 7 chapters). However, I think the characters are very endearing. In the title story, "Private Teacher" you have a sweet high school student, Rintarou Noe, and his "private tutor," a college student named Kaede Sumizome. These two are my favorite--Rintarou is soo adorable, and Kaede, while coming off as very self-confident, definitely has insecurities of his own. I found it very easy to fall in love with these characters. And "light" yaoi is the type I like anyway, so I'm not particularly bothered by the lack of a strong plot. Private tutor is the first three chapters of the book. You get two chapters of "Complex 18" which is about two best friends who are in high school. It is again, about a very cute (mostly oblivious) guy and his outwardly self-confident/cold (but secretly like a child with a toy he's very possessive of) lover. This one was also enjoyable. Lastly, there're two chapters of "Love Starts with XXX," which is about a straight-laced teacher and his over-eager student. This one kind of has a bit more of the "forbidden" vibe to it (age and status). While these characters are cute, this storyline wasn't my favorite. But to each their own. Overall it's a really good book and I think any yaoi-lover would enjoy it! (the guys are really VERY attractive :D) Volumes 2 & 3 are also very good! So preorder them when they're available!About the English release--I guess June is one of those producers who trims down some of the Japanese elements (like honorifics). I like reading my "-san's" and "kun's" in my manga, so hearing Rintarou call Kaede "Kaede" rather than "Kaede-san" kind of changed the dynamic for me (it's hard to explain, but those honorifcs do add a bit to the sexiness of the relationship). Additionally, I found that they bound the pages too close. I found myself having to try to bend the center back to read, but I still couldn't see the whole word on some pages. *oh well* I also think the printing was a bit odd--the beginning pages started out "grayer" than I'm used to, but the dark black picked up after a while, so it was fine. Lastly, the translation wasn't as..."erotic" (can't find a better way of describing it haha) as I was used to having read the Japanese version, but I'm not sure anyone would notice if this is your first time reading it.Overall, they did a good job. :)

Excellent manga Printing problems
I really love this series, the story has a bit of everything, romance, comedy, it's sexy and sweet. I'm actually really happy I bought it; however, the only thing that bothers me a little is that the pages were bound too close in the center and some parts were really difficult to read since I didn't want to open the book so wide, that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, the story deserves 5+. Apart from that, I really recommend this series.

okay
the story is good my main issue was with the binding there were a couple of pages where the border of the page was obscured because of the way it was glued-I found that really annoying but I recommend

Fun story from Yuu Moegi
The story is really fun, about unique relationship between a egoistic man as a homeroom teacher and kind, softhearted student, I really like to read another story from Yuu Moegi. Seemslike this is the only manga she made for now.

Fluffy Romance
Very good story! Hard to read some words because it was too far into the spine. Lovable characters all around. I even enjoyed the short stories after
