Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM Lens for NIKON DSLR Cameras w/ Complete Flash, Photo and Travel Bundle

Sigma 18-250mm lens is a beautiful lens and takes great photographs. I like this lens for portraits and scenery photos. However, I was disappointed in its macro-close up capability which appears to be NONE--considering I've used several macro lenses with great results, since that is the photography I do, macro and close up photography. I suspect the MACRO tag on the lens is for marketing. This lens operates and functions like a MICRO telephoto lens, not a MACRO lens. I used the autofocus which works very well, but the manual function with hands on focusing is not as well as the autofocus. I like Sigma lenses but I wish they made them more user friendly for manual users. However, for a very nice compact telephoto lens, and a portrait lens, with autofocus capability this is hard to beat.

Everything was included and you get a lot of things for a great price. True the items might not be top, top of the line, but they are functional and do the job. The lens is great, very versatile and great range. Haven't taken a lot of picture at this time, but will report back later.
