Walking up the stairs one morning, my knee gave out and I collapsed in pain. Went to the Sports Med Doc and they suggested a hinged knee brace and to get one on Amazon until I get an MRI. They printed out a couple suggestions for me and I looked into them. Neither of them were this one. I am very much a review reader and one that likes to make sure I am not wasting my money, with that said, I stumbled across this one and read all the amazing review, this one was the highest rated along with being considerably less expensive than the others. I decided on this one and was immediately extremely happy with my decision. It not only stabilized my knee, but it made it feel comfortable enough to feel confident stepping normal. The pain was relieved seeing it didn't allow my knee to twist and turn being in the hinged brace. For the first couple days, I wore it to work and by the end of the day when I took it off, my knee felt so good again. The support is incredible and it is not big and bulky like some of the others. I usually don't like to wear the brace over clothes, unfortunately working in an office, the type of clothes I wear doesn't allow room to put under them. This brace fits and feels amazing over clothes as well. Very satisfied with this purchase...The only down side of this brace.... the very first time I went to pull the top outside small strap across, the velcro strip came off from the sewing. I should have returned it but I did fasten it with two smaller safety pins which has held up for over 2 weeks now. If I wasn't in urgent need of it, I would have had it replaced.

After using another brace that wouldn't stay on, this brace is amazing! It stays put all day, is comfortable to wear, and it definitely gives your knee support.

The brace is an excellent help for support for the knee to help the tear heal. It works well but does slip slightly which may be my error when putting it on my leg. It is surprisingly well fitting as I am a large person. I am 3x in clothing and that is the size brace I purchased.

I recently learned that I tore my meniscus ligament in my right knee, and had moderate arthritis. While waiting surgery, my dr said I could order a brace if I felt it would help. After reading several brands, I decided on this one.Having wore braces or compression sleeves off and on on my knees over the majority of my life, I can say that this brace not only provides the support needed, it is also comfortable. Not having material bunching up on the back of the knee is a HUGE win. It mostly stays in place thanks to the rubber on the inside at the top.The closing system is sturdy and I have very rarely had to adjust it through the day. It's comfortable and easy to wear.My only complaint is that I would have used metal vs plastic on the square rings that allow the tension strap to be set. I know over time that is going to wear out and snap.I highly recommend this brace for anyone going through pain and knee damage. After surgery, I will def need this on the opposite knee, as I know there is damage to it for having to make up for the severely injured one (dealing with knee problems most my life honestly).

This knee support was great for my husband but it looks like a homeless person has been wearing it now and it’s only been worn at work the past 2 months. Was hoping to get more use out of it before it looked so bad.

The brace is very good. When I measured my knee, it was right on the “dividing line” between large and extra large. I opted to go with the plus size. However, I am going to order a second one a size smaller. Hopefully it will be the “perfect fit.” Even though the first brace was a little large, it helped my knee tremendously !

This has been my most medical Goldilocks and the 3 Braces experience ever. Recently tore my MCL or Meniscus (ins delay means we haven't had images yet) - regardless it is an absolute pain in the butt trying to navigate life. Got the whole leg brace from ER - too long for my short body. Tried the soft ones we had around the house - might as well have been wearing a compression sock over my knee - no support, just hot and sweaty - no one wants to have hot flashes at the knee. Got an OTC brace from Walgreens - hinged and biggest size - not big enough at the thigh for my tree trunks (strong like bear in woods). Was getting desperate for a brace that fit, allowed for movement, and wasn't constantly moving south - I don't typically go for sight unseen options because I am terrible at making returns and who really wants a closet full of knee braces? Not me...though we may have passed that at this point.I immediately tried this one on when it arrived (then stopped, read directions, and actually put it on correctly). The adjustable straps are the absolute best possible addition to a knee brace!! I had it on, got the adjustments made and for the first time since tearing whatever it is in my knee I honestly felt like I had support and protection! Is it still warm as hades? of course it is! But it is no warmer than any of the others and probably cooler than the sleeve braces. And, since ins is going to drag this whole thing out forever at least now I feel like I can safely, and comfortably, navigate through my day to day activities without grave concern.in all seriousness - of the half dozen braces/sleeve braces/hinge braces I have tried this one is 10 times better than the next runner-up. I can't suggest this brace strongly enough (especially if you are short-ish, leg strong, like bear in woods, dislike overheating at the knee, or are impatiently waiting on insurance to get their head out of their backdoor).

It fits and works better than any previous knee braces I've purchased! Easy to put on and take off. Adjustable and doesn't slide or bunch up!
