Works great with Genie units
Easy to hook up to Genie garage door openers. Op range is much better than original remotes.

I'm 0 for 2
Tried to setup using all of the codes for both my garage and gate openers. I have a Chamberlain garage opener and a Linear gate. None of the codes worked.

Works for Chamberlain purple
This was easy to look up and program.I checked the back of my garage door motor (pictured), and it's the Chamberlain purple. The booklet told me how to program based on my color code, and then repeat the process for each door you have.I realize some people were having issues, but mine worked fine.I do have a few minor complaints.First, it's a little small - and while that can be a perk, it is also easy to lose.Second, it seems a bit pricey compared to other universal remotes I've seen. But it is unique in that it can hold 4 codes at once.Third, there's only one included here. If you don't have a keypad, or have an external garage without a side door, you'll need two units.I realize some people were having programming issues, but frankly, in at least some of those instances, it sounds like user error could have played a role. Overall an easy thumbs up for me.

We have liftmaster and it did not work with it
Tried for hours to get this to work, but ultimately no luck. We have a liftmaster which is pretty common so I didn’t think we’d have any issues. But this did not work at all.

Just wing it!
I initially tried to program this and could not get it to sync up, I was just about to post a bad review and thought let me give this one more shot. I followed the steps and Identified the code for our Genie garage door opener, got the led flash, programmed button 1 and went to the Genie to hit the set/program button.Nothing, light just flashed. Tried this a couple more times and in a moment of frustration I held the set button on the genie until it went solid blue, pressed the 1 button on the opener and voila, it worked!Easy to program, not really but it works as it was intended.
