Troxel Intrepid Saddle Horse Riding Helmet, Low-Profile Adjustable Design, Safety Horseback Riding Gear

This is a great Troxel helmet! I had older Troxel helmets years ago and wanted an updated version, so chose this model after reading about the different styles. The Intrepid is so nice and lightweight and very comfortable to wear. I measured my head as directed and chose the corresponding size on the chart, and the fit is perfect. I like the self adjusting band at the back of the neck on this style. Since I have not ridden in summer yet with this helmet, I cannot speak to how well it cools my head! I'm very happy with the looks, fit, and light weight of this helmet.

This is a great quality helmet. It is low profile so you can see where you're going but still has a rim to block sun. It is light weight and comfortable.

I currently own the troxel spirit and it feels too bulky but is super comfortable. I wear a size Medium. Both helmets fit about the same . What I like about the intrepid is that it’s less bulky and fits my head better. I’d say this runs a lil smaller than the spirit style. I have a round face so the construction style of the spirit made me look weird. I wore it for comfort because my ovation was scratching my forehead with the poor fit of the liner and it was giving me headaches. I started wearing the troxel more and more. The spirit is good for a go pro . It’s round enough to balance it .I will not get rid of the spirit style for that reason. It’s fun to use the go pro . I have thick long hair and the intrepid doesn’t have the dial to catch my hair. I can’t wait to ride in it !

This is not the first Troxel helmet I've owned and I will never buy a different helmet ever!!!! This is my third helmet after my first one was given to me used and my second experienced 7 falls, 3 rams into trees, and many drops on concrete lol. The only bad thing I have to say about these helmets is the visor breaks pretty easily, but if you don't work with horses that spook and run you into overgrown trees you'll be good to go haha!But over all, I recommend these helmets to EVERYONE. I have yet to run into a better brand! They are very easy to clean and fit very snugly on my head, and are so easy to adjust. Also, it shipped way earlier than it said which I was very excited about!!!

The white helmet looks great! Fits like my other Troxels, no problem. Light wright easy to wear. Glad I got it.

Very comfortable and what a great price. I got compliments the first week I wore this riding helmet (I got it in the black matte) -- some other riders even thought it was an expensive helmet. It's really comfortable, fits great, easy to put on and get off. Once I adjusted the straps to be comfortable I haven't had to adjust anything at all. I even forget that I have it on. I love the design of the inside. Before buying my own helmet, I had worn one of the school helmets and they are horrible -so uncomfortable that they hurt the top of your head. So I'm am pleasantly surprised that a helmet can be fantastic.

The size was very small. I was expecting a large and the real size is a medium ( although it is labeled as large)
