Creamy & Delicious.
Salt medium, acidity medium, strength, medium an all-round nice cheese. A little too much acidity for my complete satisfaction but it is creamy tasty, and works great with Apple. however, I would recommend “Danish Blue” over this.

Not bad for supermarket stilton
Coming from Nottinghamshire, I do like a good stilton. I might have been spoilt living close enough to be able to pop to Cropwell Bishop to get the best and tastiest and creamiest stilton fresh from the farm or even pop down to the capital of blue cheese which is the village of Colton Basset in the Vale of Belvoir close to the Leicestershire border. Any mass produced blue cheese is going to be slightly diappointing in comparison to the authentic hand produced cheeses from South Nottinghamshire. This Morrisons British Blue Stilton is actually not bad. It comes from the Long Clawson dairy in Leicestershire and has a stilton taste but is not quite as creamy as others and a little crumbly. Morrinsons also do a "The Best" range of stilton which is slightly better than this and, of course, slightly more expensive. I would call this "everyday" stilton and could be used for cooking for example broccoli and stilton soup. My only slight gripe is that the packaging is very tight on the cheese which makes it sweat a bit and it is difficult to put your cheese back in the packaging if you do not eat it all straight away. It is hard to open without a sharp knife and you run the risk of stabbing yourself as the plastic outer is actually quite tough.

Nice stinky stilton. Great for Christmas or anytime
This is a nice strong stilton with a very distinct smell. It tastes fresh and it's a decent sized piece of blue cheese for the price. Some people only bother at Christmas for the essential cheeseboard, but I'll happily eat this all year round. This is perfect sliced on crackers or melted as a sauce on steak or other foods.A big thumbs up from me.
