Things are slightly better with the new battery but
It arrived quickly and meets most of my needs. However I was surprised at how quickly the battery lost power and queried with supplier who very quickly and generously sent a replacement. Things are slightly better with the new battery but, though I am not a heavy user, I need to recharge at least every other day. This is poor in comparison to my previous phone which would have gone 3-4 days.

Great phone and great customer service
K750i is my favorite mobile phone. Easy handling, good 2MP camera (for an old school phone), long lasting battery,...I hate smartphones and I'm happy to got the K750i after all these years for that price. It is coming with in-ear headphones, charger and also an adapter for overbroad.I got what i expected - a great new old phone ;)Shipping takes a bit... but thats a part of the description.Good to know: 3G Sim cards cannot be used as well as micro sims. All other sims are fine. Many thanks to the great customer service. Very nice, quick and helpful.

Disappointed!
Advertisied with a picture of a new phone with headphones... It was very old, 'beaten-up' and not even a charger with it!.. I'd say false advertising!

Old and dependable 8 years on.
I have had this phone for about 8 years. I know it is old fashioned and while everyone around me seems to be complaining about the battery life of their smart phone or cracked screens, Mine just keeps on going.I simply wish I could have the same phone to use on 3G as this is what most of the cheaper networks use.I only charge it about once a week Sunday evening ready for the week ahead. What more can I say.

TO READ carefully BEFORE BUYING THE K750i !!!
AVOID this model absolutely if buying for professional use !!!Hi,I have bought the SonyEricsson K750i 2 weeks ago... can't believe it !On the harware side, it is a piece of jewelry. On the software side, it is really a piece of crap.I use very little teenagers functions (jingles, videos, games... where you need a 10 bucks a month extra-subscription to do it : not for me). I bought the SonyEricsson K750i for a professional use, and I deeply regret it. This model is actually useless for professionals !The main value I find in devices like this, is to carry in ONE portable device ALL my contacts, with all their attributes (name, adress, tel numbers, email adresses...) so that I can communicate with any of them very quickly either by phone, email, SMS, MMS. And I synchronise this with my OULOOK so that everything is both backed up and updated everyday.I today have 485 contacts (clients, collegues, family, friends, ...) and will probably have 600 alltogether. And here lies the pain¡K1 - these contacts are ordered by FIRST NAME ! When looking for somebody to call, I must remember his/her first name... Can't believe it !!! And there is NO WAY to change that !2 - Going further, I found it is possible to create groups of contacts : "OK, this should save me..." I said to myself... : I thus started to file all my contacts in kind of folders, named groups (clients, colleagues, family, friends¡K). But... I discovered that these groups are only designed to enable the K750i user to send the same email to all contacts of a group in one shot !!! Not really useful, and really at this point, totally useless and stupid ! Hence, it is NOT possible to search a contact by group : here am I, back to my problem of listing my 485 contacts by first name ! But M. SonyEriccson, I DO NOT know by heart the first name of all my customers !3 - Not very fortunate up to now, I decided to go back to OUTLOOK to see what I could do. There, each contact has lots of attributes : company, last name, first name, address, email adresses, tel numbers¡K. But now back to my Sony Ericcson K750i, only a very few of these attributes are loaded during the synchronisation (but this is not said nor documented anywhere in the fabulous SonyEricsssson web site), and even among the very few attributes loaded, there is ABSOLUTELY no possibility to sort contacts with any other attribute that the first name !!! I couldn't believe it, but... it is true."Let me do the manipulation again, I'll get used to it : still my 485 contacts sorted by first name, I scroll down...mmm...A...D...J...R...Robert...actually it scrolls down quite fast (this must be very energy consuming for the display), yeah... oh no, it is not there :-( or did I put it at "Bob" ? Let me scroll backwards up...P...J...D...B... And no way to see at a glance the company of a contact : frankly speaking, there are contacts I do not remember instantly unless in a specified professional context. Unacceptable for such a mobile at such a cost !I talked of that to my office neighbourg : he has a SAMSUNG and he could sort his contacts and find any on them in seconds !Let me tell you, I haven't tried yet the diary synchronisation, but I won't. I shall stop loosing my time, and accept the fact I have been screwed up. This is my first SonyEricsson and my last one. Unless one of you has a trick to get me out of this situation (I already spent hours on so many web sites...) !?One more thing : I am very impressed by the "virus marketing" that propagates so "unformally" and so fast that the SonyEricsson is such top notch device ! well done M. SonyEricsson marketing director, you screwed me up and got my money ! But you won't do it twice.Olivier - [email protected]

Best phone ever!
I first bought this phone when it first came out, and I have to say, over the 3 years that I had it, it went through hell. It drowned twice, dropped in behind running engines, dropped in oil and other substances, thrown around my toolbox at work constantly and dropped from several feet on more than one occasion onto various surfaces including concrete and it never had any faults with it. I used to bounce it off of the floor when I was bored, and you were lucky if the back even came away.I never once turned this phone off during its life time, and even with listening to music almost every day on it, the batter would last 2 days on constant, and over 10 days if you done nothing to it. Sure this phone is old fashioned and past its time, and hey, not even a smart phone, this phone still has to be the best phone money can buy in 2013. I currently have Samsung galaxy young and my misses a Sony Experia, and the slightest touch could break the damn things. In terms of rating, this phone would get 10 out of 5 if it was an option, Reliability 10, survivability and durability 10, quality 10, ease of use 10. I said it once and I will say it again, this phone is the best phone I have ever had, and if you are looking for the best, this is it. best phone still in 2013.
