Fits Japanese coins but doesn't hold strongly, they fall out when it bumps around in pocket.Honestly I didn't need to use it, the coins say how much they are and you can dump everything in the automatic coin machines at register to receive most efficient number back.

I purchased this to use for a trip to Japan. This made handling yen so much easier! Of everything I purchased for the trip this was the best thing. I was able to pay quickly for my items and easily see how much I had on hand.If I could change anything to the product I'd make it hold more than 5 coins each.
